Highly addictive and so satisfying! It is both relaxing and unnerving at the same time, the night cycle really gives me the creeps. Was watching Jacksepticeye play it and needed to give it a go myself. 100% would recommend!

I appreciate the enthusiasm in the 'art by humans, for humans' because gen ai is a scourge on us all and its nice to know someone put their heart into a game, and it really shows here. really fun incremental game with a spooky atmosphere!

the gameplay loop is boring. with so much space later on the grinding becomes suboptimal or downright bad. finding the cassettes are fun. the bad end isnt great, the good end is satisfying but i wondered what would happen if you were allowed to choose.

it's more incremental than horror and the horror is very subtle. it's a mystery thriller with a few horror elements that CAN lead into some scary stuff (like loud noises, weird effects, and a light jumpscare at the end if you choose something) but otherwise, play it for the fun incremental upgrading with a cool aesthetic.

Berry Bury Berry is a game where you bury all kinds of berries. The gameplay is simple and wonderfully addicting once you start making the big bucks. Without the psycological horror aspect of this game it would be a 6/10 in my book. BUT with the uneasiness, this game is easily a 9/10. The little puzzles and secrets sprinkled around that connect to this overarching mystery of what is going on is just peak storytelling. This game was worth every penny even though it only took me 11 hours to 100%.

Has some downsides. It feels a little mascot horror-esque, and I thought that was cringe. A number of the black star puzzles are absolutely obtuse. Also the hole aspect and the reason you're even stuck in the setting in the first place goes completely unexplained (why does it try to eat you at night? why are there even day / night cycles really?)
The good carries it though. I found it to be a solid and addicting incremental. A slow start, and then just straight spilling countless fruits into the coin void towards the ending. The aesthetic is cozy. Story is passing grade.
I liked it!

I almost didn't play this game because of the "psychological horror" tag. Luckily, I saw the beginning of a playthrough that showed me what the game really was.
This is not a horror game. This is a game about making number go up. Great fun. Took me nearly ten hours to 100% all achievements.

I love my little berry chuds...
For real though, if it had more horror elements in it, like more disturbing imagery to match the story, and like disturbing things appearing in the distance in the night, or out of the corner of your eye.
It WOULD have been TOP TIER imo with some of that.
Though still VERY good, the GAMEPLAY is AMAZING, just felt a bit like it had no real payoff in the horror department after all the atmosphere and buildup from the story.
I think adding more moments like that would've improved it's narrative a LOT and would really make it feel more impactful and meaningful.
Still 100%'d it tho... The gameplay is peak.... grow my little chuds......... GROW............
