This was by far the worst DLC of the 3. I didn't feel this added anything special to the game. The ability to have shields painted is somewhat cool, but outside of that. I don't recommend. To be fair, I feel like between the other DLC for this game and some of the DLC in the first game, it has pretty stout competition.

If you are someone who listens to the cutscenes and loves immersing yourself. the story is amazing. Also the dlc did a really good job of respecting someone who clearly had schizo effective disorder. the shield painting is a nice addition and voyeta is probably one of the most interesting characters i have met in the game. The actor did an amazing job in the voice. I felt like i was speaking to someone who really knew the arts. it was nice.

I've been having fun with it and I enjoy my interactions with the painter. The unique items and custom shield designs are a pretty cool addition as well. Screw all of the haters and naysayers

I have mixed feelings about this one. Personally, I cannot say I liked it, it's just "fine". Meh. What I hated though are the amount of time gates in the first half of the quest line. Having to wait an in-game day to continue the quest line multiple times is just a waste of time. Yeah, I can just skip time in-game, but like what are we even doing here? Sure, the DLC does become available after like 30% into the main story, so you could be doing some other quests, but if you play this after beating the game? Honestly, most of the quests are fetch quests, so yeah. I'd say I would not recommend this. At least is relatively cheap. Shield painting... is fine? I don't know why you'd care about it though, since you don't really ever see your own shield designs, perhaps in the inventory screen, and like for a split second in combat, maybe?

Very interesting DLC that fell short. The characters and story was honestly a nothing burger i was trying to be invested in it but its really hard when Voyta wont even tell you what he had for breakfast for that morning even though you just slaughtered and looted an entire village for him. Seriously this guy ruined the ♥♥♥♥ for me there was spooky moments that had me intrigued like some paranormal aspect was coming in to play. It was cool doing ♥♥♥♥ but yeah this is ultimately a series of fetch quests for a nothing burger character who barely makes a peep about what's actually going on so you can barely actually piece together the story. I dont know maybe im slow and stupid but im with everyone else in saying this DLC was kinda butt cheeks. I FORGOT THE SHIELD PAINTING MECHANIC IS GOATED I PERSONALLY THINK ITS REALLY COOL EVEN IF I DONT USE IT THAT OFTEN I JUST THINK IT IS GREAT YOU CAN NOW FLESH OUT YOUR SHIELDS WITH WHATEVER COLOR, STYLE, OR SYMBOL. GOD BE WITH YOU

It was fine. Not up to the great standard set by the game.

Out of the 3 DLC's it is my least favourite. It doesn't really add anything and the story is not engaging. The main character in the story is also not very likable, so most of the time i didnt really want to help him. Just get it on sale or skip it.
