This Game is so much fun and addicting
I little thing i really loved that the relic you mine starts from mud to surface level to mountain level to sky and ended up in space and the final item is dark matter!

This game is part of the relatively new "incremental" genre. It is kind of like an idler, it has many of the exponential scaling mechanics. However, instead of taking 100s hours of idle play, this game takes about 2-3 of active play to finish the game and get all achievements.
It always keeps you involved and interested.
Good for a boring day. Had some fun on a day off.

I like pixels, I like skill trees, and I spent hours of my life in Diamond/Pearl with the mining mini game, so I knew I needed this game from the moment I saw it. It is an incremental and clicker game, which usually isn't my type of game, but it was nice, cute, fun, and in my opinion didn't overstay it's welcome.
Digseum: The Only Museum Where Dirt = Profit
Ever wanted to dig up ancient treasures and make bank without leaving your chair? Digseum lets you do just that—no back pain, no dirt under your nails, just pure, unfiltered excavation joy.
The gameplay? Click, dig, find cool relics, and slap ‘em in your museum. The better your museum, the more imaginary visitors throw imaginary money at you. It’s basically capitalism, but with old statues instead of overpriced coffee.
You also get “dream fragments” that let you upgrade your digging powers because apparently, archaeology is fueled by naps. The progression is snappy, and just when you think you’re done, the game dangles another juicy upgrade in front of you. It’s like when you tell yourself, “One more episode,” and suddenly it’s 3 AM.
Is it a long game? Nope. You can probably finish in a few hours. But for the price of a questionable gas station hot dog, you get a delightful little digging adventure.
Pros:
✔️ Satisfying digs & museum upgrades
✔️ Addictive progression (goodbye productivity)
✔️ Cheap & cheerful
Cons:
❌ No actual dirt smell (maybe a pro?)
❌ Wish there was a way to throw visitors out for bad museum etiquette
Final verdict: If you like clicking stuff and watching numbers go up, Digseum is a no-brainer. 10/10, would become a sleep-powered archaeologist again.

Digseum is a fun little incremental game that kept me entertained for a few hours. The concept of excavating artifacts and building up your museum is surprisingly satisfying. The progression feels smooth, and the upgrades are enjoyable, with a few nice surprises along the way. It’s relaxing without being too time-consuming, which I really appreciate. It does get a bit repetitive after a while, but for the price and the amount of fun I had, it’s definitely worth it. If you like chill, incremental games, this one's a solid pick.

Such a gem of a game. It was perfectly short and sweet, with funny narration and unique gameplay.
Some idle games can be super drawn out but this can be finished in a few hours, before it manages to become stale.
A perfect addition for my achievement hunting friends. If it sounds even slightly fun to you i’d recommend giving it a go because of the low price point :)

100% Completed Review -
Whilst this game advertises itself as an idler, I believe it's much more hands-on than that, at least with how I did my playthrough. Digseum kept me engaged much more than the average "idler", with its fun mini-game-styled progression through the usage of relics, which are gained by mining areas. Unlike its predecessors and competition, Digseum does not present itself as much of a time sink, taking me a fair 2.5 hours to 100%; however, time frames may vary for others. This game also has a great "dream tree", which is essentially a reincarnation system, providing upgrades in return for "dream fragments". I found this short and sweet experience to be a enjoyable time for its low price point..

vaguely reminiscent of that underground minigame in pokemon diamond/pearl where you dig for relics and that's pretty much the entire game. if you're into that you will likely enjoy this also
