This is specifically about tropico 2. I wouldn't recommend buying from steam for the simple reason that they sell the unpatched version that doesn't work on modern computers. You can find patch 1.2 online, and hoist the black flag to bypass the CD check that adds to the game. However paying customers shouldn't have to do that.
