Some say this game feels unfinished or doesn’t live up to the hype. But for me, it delivered countless moments that reminded me why I love Dragon’s Dogma: awesome battles, breathtaking vistas, and a loyal pawn who, bless his AI heart, alternated between saving my life and yeeting me off cliffs. The OST? Chef’s kiss. The theme "A Letter to No One" is so beautifully crafted it hit me right in the feels, and its motifs woven into the main theme make it one of the most emotional tunes I’ve ever experienced. Sure, the game has its flaws—monster types feel repetitive, and the environments could use more variety—but the memories I’ve made and the sheer emotional weight of that soundtrack make it all worth it. In honor of my pawn, Eirik—who would fain relinquish all he had for my sake (and also won’t stop rambling about literally everything)—I purchased this soundtrack in a heartbeat.
