Bejeweled Deluxe Reviews
In the game, you must swap two adjacent gems to line up three or more of the same jewel type horizontally or vertically to eliminate them. Keep playing until there are no moves left or you've conquered the board. Bejeweled's gameplay can be fun for both kids and adults.

There are better versions of this game, but I still recommend it because there's nothing really wrong with it. I bought this version primarily because of the nostalgia of listening to Skaven tracks and the fact I used to play it on my laptop at my friend's restaurant in the mid 2000's while I waited for him to have lunch with me. (The browser version was free back then.) If you don't have any specific reason to play this version, it might be worth your while to check out a later version.
My friend passed away in late 2021, so I got this game specifically to bring me back in a small way to those days in his restaurant. The sting of his death has dulled since then, but I don't think I'll ever stop missing him.

graphics are old mode/too pixelated as compared to newer versions, let alone the newest version

Very fun to see where the series got its start, but it's absolutely NOT worth $5, especially when Bejeweled 2 and 3 are available on the same storefront. The only reason I'm recommending this is if you wait for a sale, you can get this game for (in most cases) a dollar, which is much more justified given how much there is to do.
