Hero of the Kingdom: The Lost Tales 3 Reviews

I love this series! It's a simple fetch task game without major complexities or puzzles, but it has slightly different mechanics than others that keep me interested in the game play and the story. It's fairly short, I played it in 3 hours, however, I have played all the others in the series so I know how to move through it efficiently. The fact that this actually felt like the sequel we needed from the beginning was a pleasant surprise. Hoping for more in the series in the future.

The game took 4 hours. What was really annoying it's lots of really long replies. Also taking all the tasks and clearing/looting everything around it's easy to get all achievements.

A lot of the same in all Hero tales. Needed to be longer and different story than the mage and dragon, however still like these games. Hero 3 is the best game, because you make your own food and make weapons.

More of Hero of the Kingdom which surprisingly made it too steam as on the last release they said they were focusing heavily on Mobile. Basically a casual hidden object game with some minor mental puzzle solving in the fact you have to watch your Strength levels aka your energy level that allows you to do stuff. Again a recommend as I enjoy the minor casual game from time to time,but with this one as with The lost tales 2 you should start from the beginning at The lost tales 1 if you want the whole story.

Absolutely love this series! Have done them all now and each has its own challenges, slightly different from the other. The best tip I could give is to pick and choose your goals and only purchase items as you need rather than stockpile them...the risk is that you may run out of money or items to sell to get money! Get your strength hearts by either camping out or eating your food [you can get omelettes from the eggs you collect] rather than staying in the hotel as it costs more to stay there than buy your campfire wood. Overall, really fun game...oh! And use the map!!

Played all of them. Strategy game which allows some decision making but is also different from others

A *lot* more tedious than it's predecessors, just a constant slog of back and forth nonsense to get to the meat and potatoes of it. A bit disappointing coming from the rest.

Ну вот я и прошел все части и могу кое-что сказать. Первый три части лучшие в своем роде. Первая прелестна, вторая дополняет, а третья уже с экспериментальными механиками. The lost tales в целом разочаровала. Она ощущается и проработана даже хуже первой, такое ощущение, что это просто вытягивание денег на франшизе. И качество очень посредственное, даже визуал. Как будто делала уже совершенно другая команда. ------ Well, I’ve finished all the parts and can say a few things. The first three parts are the best of their kind. The first one is delightful, the second one builds on it, and the third one introduces experimental mechanics. The Lost Tales was overall disappointing. It feels and is executed even worse than the first one, giving the impression that it’s just a cash grab on the franchise. The quality is very mediocre, even the visuals. It’s as if it was made by a completely different team.

A short, hyperminimalist RPG where the main mechanics are hidden-objects (much easier than previous installments though) and resource management. It's almost entirely made of fetch quests, but somehow I find this series delightful and compelling. Cozy as hell.

Easily the worst game in the entire series. This game requires you to grind for gold so you can do pretty much anything. Need to kill any animal, you need 1 or potions. Oh, your weapon broke btw while you only have 12 gold. Better find a way to grind for money. Too bad it takes hours to purchase anything. It seems the only reliable way of making gold is digging manure and selling it for pennies. The only alternative is to just cheat, and I had to add over 10k gold just to buy all the potions and crap to kill the monsters. NEXT, they unlock basically the entire map and you have 15 quests at once, but you can only feasibly complete 1-3 at a time because the rewards for most are needed for another quest. I wasn't able to complete a quest where I turn in 10 "straw" until after I almost cleared the entire map. You will not have fun in the game as you are just randomly going from screen to screen trying to find the next single step you can take in the game. Furthermore, the quests that give you gold don't even cover the cost of materials. Thinking you should find materials? Well, you can't. You can only find eggs, fish and flowers. Wood? You have to buy that now to sleep. Also, NOT A SINGLE RESOURCE RESPAWNS, guaranteeing that you WILL run out of resources. Don't buy this game. I was a fan of their others, but this one is just a grindy piece of trash.
