This okay as a puzzle solver. The story line is a little pretentious, but it's a good point and click game.

I left the game at the second house where the girl opens the door and when I came back the game did not let me leave the house. The door was opening and closing at a fast pace and there was no way to leave the house.
Also some of the puzzles are insanely hard especially the one with the 12 pictures you should match to a story that opens the door to the cupboard with the pounch and sand inside it.
can't recommend this game due to the game breaking bug and that some of the puzzles are to hard.

love these games , i cant wait for another installment , love how they make u think outside the box , i dont care if all the achievemnts r fixed yet or not cuz i am sure u all will get around to fixing them eventually , games for me r a kind of therapy so the achievements arent a high priority on my list , they r a luxury , hope to see a few more installments of this series on the market soon

The mouse select on this games sucks. If you move the mouse too fast/click too fast, it does does recognize what you are doing. And it has two time-based achievements.
Also, some of the full-game achievements are a nightmare. You must play twice on one profile for the play two games achievement. But you must uncheck "Casual" to play the second time, then you cannot skip puzzles and cannot unlock the skipp all puzzles achievement. I did not know all this so I will have to play 4 times to unlock all achievements. That is crap! Now during my speedrun, the jigsaw puzzle keeps crashing after it is solved. I has to switch back to casual mode to fix it. HOWEVER, THE SPEEDRUN CHEEVO DID NOT UNLOCK THE FIRST TWO THREE TIMES AND IT TOOK ME ABOUT 60 MINUTES USING SPACEBAR PAUSE A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally unlocked it. Maybe it is under 1 hour?

First of all, the negative reviews for this game are ill founded. It is a huge step up from its predecessor, which I bought at two bucks and wouldn't pay more for it. The reason I am posting this review is because there are far too many negative reviews for this game on steam. Very enjoyable game, quite difficult at times. I found the hardest level to be the one with the air rune in the house. Which was like the second level, which doesn't make sense. But whatever, it was a very enjoyable game.
One thing however, there is a moment in the 'Ghost Manor' level when you are asked to order pictured events in sequence as it is recorded in your journal, which was collected chronologically. However if you are playing in non-casual mode, which many people who have high self-esteems would, then you would never know that it isn't in chronological order. Call me a layman, but I don't understand how even a genius of intellect would be able to divine that they weren't in chronological order if the game has you collect it as such. Other than that ridiculously impossible task, the game is pretty solid, 7/10
