I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.

This game is a huge waste of time, don't buy it,the controls are garbage and the mobs hit like a rock with loots of health,it only takes 4 or 5 hits and game over.

It seemed promising when under development and now I've finally gotten around to it I'm left with a bad taste of disappointment in every department.
The most important flaws are rubbish controls--unresponsive with a non-variable jump height, so you will always be jumping the same height and the physics are terrible for it making it feel like some awful low-gravity moon jump. With the animations seeming to have missing frames and lack of good indicators, you're never sure how well you're doing against an enemy until it dies. Everything is so terrible in this department, it feels so sluggish you'd think the inputs were delayed and lagging.
When it comes to sound, the only noticeable thing is the terrible voice acting with dialogue that can't be skipped so you're forced to listen to the stale, emotionless characters that don't even seem to try to get you to care about what's going on. Bad voice acting exists in a lot of things, yes, but when there are no means to skip or speed up the dialogue, it draws extra attention itself and it just seems to get worse each time it happens.
If the controls weren't so rubbish, I might have given game more time, but the terrible voice-acting that I couldn't skip really put me off. There's quite a bit of dialogue in the beginning which I'd have to repeat each time I died because of not having a clear indication of whether or not the enemy I fought was near death. It's annoying how terrible it is.
Don't even take a chance on this one. It's not a fun experience at all; it's a mess.

This is an interesting little 2-D, side scrolling game. The gameplay is fairly simple, rolling, slashing, and jumping among other actions, fighting against an array of different monsters, collecting items, finding recipe's, crafting things.. It doesn't have a comprehensive list of items to craft the way a survival game would, but it is still fun. The story is interesting and was good enough to keep me playing for over 90 minutes when I planned on only 15 - 30. All in all not a bad game, could use some work here and there, but wouldn't be a complete waste if you were to happen across it. Not sure if I would pay much for it, but if it were in a bundle, I would recommend giving it a try.
