Pushing it Together started off as a joke with the friends. While blasting NFL on Fox Theme song and trucking on was an experience to say the least. However, one thing this game started to do for me was start to feel this sense of accomplishment. Now, I must say that I have never played the other games of this genre. I do know of other games that are similar to this, but this game in particular surrounding The Myth of Sisyphus just adds more to it for me. I have played the Single Player version of this game and have yet to finish it as of this review, but I don't think that will diminish my perspective of this one.
The good parts of the game is that it is very forgiving as well as very short. While some people in single player have been able to beat it in 7-8 minutes while corporately (2 or more) it can be less than 20 minutes. Figuring out a strategy for every obstacles is also very easy and implementing the boulder only adds an extra couple of attempts to really know where the boulder is going to angle. After that the real challenge is the players strength. The HOST is the strongest while the rest have strength that go down the more players join. The boulder also becomes harder to manage as players join. The Guy and I can easily maneuver the boulder in 2 players, but once a 3rd player joins the whole dynamic changes. Which adds to the experience when you have more players joining you.
One major problem that myself and The Guy have experiences is the random crashes that do persist amongst the game. During build 1.2.3, we crashed a considerable amount of times. While it was a setback, it didn't ruin the experience that much overall. At least that is if the host themselves do not crash. Players that aren't the host can exit and reenter the game. We easily made this possible by just putting the game in a public setting. We have went into the Developers Discord and reported issues with debugging evidence for them to go off of. So hopefully with some of our help we can get the game in a non crashing state and the developer can than add more content to the game.
While the experience is short lived, I do want more. Playing the Single Player version of this game. I do like the tutorial section. I wish that can be toggled on or off at the start to give new coming players that accomplishment of finishing the unannounced tutorial. Turning around and seeing their prize that is the real challenge. Something about that puts a smile on my face. The Developer can even just add the original stage after the players beat the first one and be considered a "Returning Map" even if it seems unbeatable with just 1 or 2 people. I will always know that players will exceed my expectations and my come out victorious in the end. Another thing is the narrators lines throughout pushing the boulder up the hill. It is missing in this one which I also really enjoyed in the single player version. Another is the music. There is none other than in the main menu and the boss fight at the end. Something that can be added maybe? While you scale up the mountain it could change to different environments or even when you fall and it plays sad music like the developer had it in the original.
This game being less than 5 dollars at my time of purchase really does feel like it was worth the 5 dollars. It made my frustrated during the boulders inability to roll in a straight line and happy when The Guy and I made it through obstacles that once seemed impossible. With laughter and smiles to be had through out experiences.

There's a bunch of reasons not to recommend this game and this is coming from someone who enjoys these types of hard/rage-ish games, but all of those pale in comparison to the crashes.
Started off having 4 or 5 of them in the first hour while playing with a friend. I tried tweaking a bunch of settings and it somehow stopped at some point, but I think I just got lucky. Regardless, at some point about one hour later, my friend began crashing and did so around 3 times within an hour with no changes to his configuration.
To be clear, this is not an issues with the power of either of our PCs.

When things are going smoothly the game is fun in the moment, but constant disconnects and crashes cause needless frustration and made my entire group give up on this. It's, at most, a beta for a future finished product.
