Thankfully this time around they decided to not gruesomely kill off really likeable characters. Absolutely goat of an ending to the trilogy though, I like that each character got their closure.

Kara no Shoujo 3, the stunning, torturously good conclusion to one of the most uniquely compelling stories out there. Like a twisted obsession, much like Reiji and many of the other afflicted characters, It was almost impossible to stop reading. To see the fruit of the massive buildup in this series, presented so spectacularly in this game, was one of the greatest joys for me. You can finally see the entire picture, no longer obscured by things you don't know; A series that managed to tear my heart in half and crush it brutally underfoot in the last game, and did it again just as well, is a undeniably an impressive one. No one knows what they could possibly be getting into with the KnS series, and that's the way it should be. No amount of writing can convey my love for this series, and it certainly can't tell anyone how incredible it is.
Kara no Shoujo is the grandmaster of toying with your feelings. It rips and tears your soul apart, patches in back up, and ruthlessly shatters it again. I'm sure this is one of the reasons why it's so captivating... but I can't help but appreciate how a perfect medley of song, sound and sights make the emotionally important scenes that much better; From seeing unspeakably gruesome murders to the most idyllic scenes, there is a wonderful balance here. KnS3 and its other games have great pacing, and it keeps you and your screen inseparable. To be completely honest, it made me feel things I've never felt from other games. It's really worth seeing something for yourself.
At first, I wasn't used to seeing Sugina Miki's new art, but soon enough, it almost immediately felt just right. You're not shortchanged in the slightest with art in this game, since it has almost 10 full pages of CGs, and another fantastic soundtrack with some fancy vocal songs composed by MANYO. It really is a high quality game, one that broke and fixed me all at once, and I urge you to try the series for yourself, as it left me in complete peace and contentment.
