Great FPV Combat Sim. hoping for physics improvement, enemy AI gets improved, and enemy soldiers be added in the future. the drone feel is just lacking wind simulation but the handling feels a bit right for me.

Remote Reaper FPV Drone is arguably one of the best FPV combat drone simulators currently available on Steam, especially if you're looking for a FPV combat simulator that actually works upon installation. After researching several FPV combat drone simulators on the platform, I chose this one for a few key reasons: 1. Responsive and active developer: The developer behind Remote Reaper listens to community feedback and actually responds compared to developers of other titles like UFDS and FPV Battlegrounds where it is impossible for to me get an answer, despite the multiple posts and DMs to the devs on Discord which are ignored. The communication and transparency here is definitely better. There is no roadmap for the time being, but the developer is always open for questions on Discord about the development progression. 2. Reliable/working controller support: Radio controllers work without hassle. I had no issues getting my Radiomaster Pocket ELRS to work without any hassle or problem, unlike other fpv combat simulator titles where control setup and calibration was downright frustrating and annoying. 3. Remote Reaper: FPV Drone runs smoothly and effortlessly on my PC. The gameplay itself is fun, almost self explanatory, and doesn't require a steep learning curve to sink in. Prior to my purchase, I had played 2 hours of the demo (which consist of only the tutorial) to familiarize myself to the game before actually jumping in. 4. For its competitive price. I'd say it is worth every dollar to support the developer (especially on a sale), since there are no addon DLCs, monthly subscription fee or donation on Donatello to play the base game. However, there are a few areas where the Remote Reaper FPV Drone could be improved on, in the future: 1. Lack of a warzone immersion and Eastern European ambiance: The maps feel too plain, empty and clean (especially in the Field map). They don't capture the chaotic experience of a gritty battlefield. There's a noticeable absence of dynamic elements like explosions, gunfire, rockets (Grad system) going off at a distance, ambient combat noise, or destroyed environments and trench systems. 2. Limited content (for now): The game is fairly barebones at its current Early Access state. More maps, better quality mission content and variety would go a long way. It seems that nearly every FPV combat simulator focuses heavily on the combat or direct action aspect of drone usage, while rarely exploring the reconnaissance side of drone warfare. It would be refreshing to see missions involving recon and positive identification of targets to aid infantry movement, mortar and long ranged artillery teams. 3. Minor collision issue: Occasionally, when my FPV drone collides with the rear of a BMP or tank, it fails to detonate and instead bounces off as if it hit a rubber surface. This is frustrating at times, especially in game modes like Armored Raids where winning is time sensitive. I would definitely give Remote Reaper FPV Drone a buy. It is a safe and solid choice compared to the rest of the options in the market. If you're unsure, do try out the demo before purchasing like I did. The developer is a cool guy who tries to update the game often as possible, but since he's working solo things take time especially when his country is at war.

This game is in VERY early dev. A lot needs tweaked and updated but the game has full potential. For 10 USD I can't be harsh. If the Devs keeps it up, this could be a great Sim, It's just terribly awkward right now.

Really enjoy the game and the realism in it. Well built and runs smoothly! Just missing to understand why you can choose what drone and how many of it to use if they're free and unlimited anyway.

You should put a save game option. The game is 10/10. Simulate ardupilot, everybody's gonna buy that too

Great sim with decent physics. The dev is amazing, constantly helping people in the discord and giving updates on what's in development. Would recommend for the price

5/5 I really enjoy the game, so far there is not much content, but what it is there, is fun. Game runs smootly with lot of FPS. I play with common FPV controller via ELRS bluettoth without any issue.

I waited for a long time when something like this would appear! Combat drone sim. - in current circumstances (war & all) it's very interesting! The game is a bit raw for now (it's EA), there are some bugs (no crashes yet, at least for me) and some mechanics are unfinished, but it's already very playable and interesting! If you love FPV drones but never had an opportunity to have one, and if you were ever excited about how ukrainian soldiers masterfully use them in combat - try this game! It's definitely worth it! Oh yeah, almost forgot, YOU DON'T NEED A REAL DRONE RADIO/CONTROLLER TO PLAY! X360-compatible gamepad will be enough, and also you can play using keyboard/mouse (you'll have to enable simple fly mode)!
