I will give it a thumbs up when cross platform play is added until then..... nope

Probably good for a controller, absolutely awful for use with a wheel. The menus are not at all designed for PC (mouse) use and requires navigation with a keyboard or controller to actually set up bindings for the wheel even then, the settings that are available for the wheel are vaguely described so i spent 0.6 hours of the 0.7 i played trying to set it up only just to give up because the driving of the car felt horrible with the wheel. Was really hopefully for this one since iRacing was a publisher. Wanted a game where you could run through a career mode and take a little less seriously than iRacing itself but still use a wheel, sadly... this game is not it.

This game is a blast! Its got so many different classes, bunch of tracks, car customization, plenty of set up options. The only thing I haven't tried is online yet. I use a g923 feedback wheel and pedals. It takes time to get good at this if you aren't used to this type of racing. Don't give up. Car Setups- If you're having trouble there are vids on the tube Physics- Wild flips with open wheel seems mostly right, track conditions change as the race day goes on you must adjust. Mud in your face has tear-offs, wing adjustments on the fly. Wheel?- Works great, only issue is and occasional start-up problem where the buttons won't respond. I reboot computer, plug wheel, starts working (stays working). Cant get 5th with H-shifter, paddle better for these cars anyway. Overall race feel?-The grip feels right and you need to find where it is on the track and setup the car (track changes as day goes on). AI is pretty good, I play on hard and is challenging but as you upgrade you will find you need to switch to the next bigger series or you wont feel challenged. Also, do yourself a favor and change the race length to min 60% or bigger or the races feel kinda like a no chance to make progress and unrealistic with extremely short races. Get bored with the car?- Switch to midgets, ump, street stock, late model. They all race and feel different. Bigger cars, heavier feedback and learn to drive all over. Career/Building a Team?- The team is you and 3 people that you hire (per car). You open up cars and series and then race where you want. Downside - You can hire drivers for a car per race but there is no option to hire drivers perm to the team to race a car and season for you making money, while you race something else. So it doesn't feel fully fledged race team. Unless that's just something I haven't unlocked yet? This game is worth the price, on sale I wouldn't pass it up!

This is the only game of its kind for dirt track racing....this game is extremely disappointing... feels like a copy/paste... "adjustable wings" Ratbag games did that 25 years ago... very bad offereing from IRacing...

Good game It’s just not enough people on it I personally like the online but nobody’s on this game the old world of outlaws has better online comp than this

This game is so poorly optimized. I am using a wheel and pedals for this and it is absolutely miserable to navigate the game menus because you cant use MnK at all!!! The button mapping that you do on the wheel doesnt seem to stay? I cant seem to get the controls for my wing to stop resetting the car even though i changed that key bind in the menus. The steering is so sensitive that if I move my wheel even in the slightest the car darts all over the track. I have 1080 degrees of movement in the wheel but im using all of about 3 degrees of it in both directions. I think just making it so I can use the mouse in the menus Id give it a 6/10 but as of right now between the horrible sensitivity in the wheel and the miserable menu navigation im giving this game a 3/10. I never got to race because I couldnt adjust the car at all and I couldnt adjust the wing without resetting my car so I quit

As someone who's not big on online multiplayer racing games, this really scratched that itch. It reminds me of the old ratbag games dirt track racing and dirt track racing sprintcars.

Overall the game is solid, The graphics are good, AI is solid, and love the variety of tracks. Wish the track surface would change during the race. I also wish there were more options when customizing your car. Limited on designs and fonts, everything is very generic. Any plans to update car designs? I notice Ryan Gustin has holes where sponsors are missing on his car which looks odd.

After playing the game for a few hours, its a great game and the cars a really fun to drive, the tracks are amazing but my only complaint is at the end of the season that dont award money for your position in points
