I hate to say this, but I don't really like this game, and there are so many reasons on why I don't.
First of all, the gameplay is s t a l e as screws. There's lack of enemy variety, lack of weapon variety, and there's no freedom of letting the player find different weapons or tools (not power-ups) that can be added to their arsenal. All of this adds up to the game quickly becoming boring.
For example, you get to wave 10 and you think "Hmmm." You'd think there would be more than 3 enemies in this game, you'd think something interesting would happen, and you then realize that the yellow power-up has stacked so much that you don't even need to aim anymore.
Also, having only 3 enemies is SUCH a big flaw. And only one of them actually has an ability, which is being able to shoot you, and is (90% of the time) fully invincible to all attacks.
This game wouldn't be that bad, if it wasn't for the fact that this game costs 10 bucks USD when off-sale (thankfully I got it on-sale). If this game was cheaper or even free, you'd think "This game is complete bare-bones, but hey, at least I got it for free!"
Take a look at Ultimate Zombie Defense.

This game probably does everything that Toy Battlegrounds couldn't. Enemy variety, multitude of weapons, the ability to build obstacles, etc. Ulitmate Zombie Defense might be infinitely better than Toy Battlegrounds, and is much cheaper when off-sale.
To the developer of this game (Hard Shark Games), I'm sorry for being hard on your game, I know that its in early access and still going through development, and I can see the potential. But this game is just too bare-bones and costs too much for me to say that this game is good. As of right now (7/17/2025), I don't recommend this game.
