Here lies the original soundtrack recording for The Binding Of Isaac: Rebirth. Matthias Bossi and Jon Evans play everything, even when they can't. Many guitars were maimed in the making of this. Drums were punished and voices scraped to the utmost. An analogue bull in the chip-tune china shop.

So if you check the properties of Rebirth, and then go to the DLC tab, it says the Soundtrack is installed. I've searched my computer far and wide, can't find it. I see a bit above that it says November 11th, yet I've seen others say something about it being out already. Does anyone know for sure which is which? Regardless of that, from what I've heard in game I give my recommendation for it.

honestly i didn't like the more experimental style of the remade soundtrack at first and the basegame music is overall ok, but is very inconsistent in terms of quality and atmosphere.
i much prefer the soundtrack of the original to the basegame soundtrack.
however, the dlcs got a lot better and since the alternate floors mean you don't hear the basegame music that much anymore, i can still recommend this soundtrack.
repentance in particular added many of my favorite tracks.

This soundtrack absolutely rips. I'd happily pay $11 again, even if just for Infanticide and River of Despair alone. I could listen to this on repeat for hours and not get sick of it. Perfect score for a roguelike where you are going to be hearing the same tracks over and over again. Absolutely stellar work.

Regardless of how you feel about Repentance or Isaac as a whole, there's one thing I think everyone can agree on: the soundtrack is easily one of the best in any game, ever. Repentance adds even more tracks, and every single one of them are amazing, and those were added for free! Even if you don't use the Steam music player (I don't), it's a nice gesture to buy the soundtrack anyways.

Although the soundtrack is amazing, I can't recommend the Steam DLC purchase of it because it doesn't include FLACs of the soundtrack, yet is still pretty damn expensive.

If people could read this soundtrack would have alot less negative reviews. I have looked at some of the negative reviews of this product and alot are complaining that it isn't in their music tab and that they can't find the soundtrack. The soundtrack is still in pre-purchase people! IT ISN'T AVAILABLE YET SO STOP COMPLAINING THAT IT ISN'T THERE. As for how the soundtrack sounds, in my opinion it is very fitting and one of the better game sound tracks out at the moment. It is definitly worth the pric i just can't wait untill it unlocks :)

RIDICULON's score is great and all, but buy this on Bandcamp instead, simply because the audio quality here is only in .mp3.

Its fine. Honestly I prefer the original BoI soundtrack by Danny B. Something about that rock ballad/gypsy music just fit right. After 200+ hours, some of the songs on here get really really old (I'm looking at you cellar music).
Then on the other hand, there are stellar tracks like Sheol.
