This is a great game and they keep adding features that it needed, and i hope they continue to do so. It just needs ''more'', but the dev team has already been so ontop of updates you know the extra features, extra items, extra clothing ect, will be coming

My favorite focus game, for more than just focus too! Dev puts so much work into the game and is still pushing out free updates! For sure show this game lots of love. Pros: - Multiple avatars can be saved. Color picker for clothes allows for a good range of unique characters. Anime style as well. - Multiple rooms. Can save multiple rooms and customize them however you want. You can place the furniture where you want and even adjust their colors as well. Want a cozy room with a beach room? You can. Want a artist studio in the city? Can do that too! - Animations and placement options. Multiple avatars can be placed around the room and you can set the animations. - Monster Friend. As you do various tasks like utilizing the timer, editing your room, etc, the stats go toward your monster friend who evolves over time. Different evolutions based on what you do. Fun to try to find them all. - Focus tools. Nice set of focus tools. I use the check list, habit tracker, and timer a lot. The game even keeps track of your usage metrics which is really nice. - Music and sounds. I love the provided lofi soundtracks in this game as well as the provided ambient sounds. The ambient sounds are natural and not distracting. I often just have the game open for the white noise. Cons - Could use a little bit more furniture and clothes, even if its DLC. Would maybe love to see the steam workshop open for it in the future as well. - No journal. Would love to see a journal added to the game with password/pin protection, etc. - No way to share avatars. Would love to see a way to share avatars with my friends, even if its just some kind of exported file. I fully expect to edit down my cons list in the near future too as I know some of this content is being worked on :D Keep up the great work and love the game!

Honestly, I'd say this program overall is worth it. The characters are cute, the room customisation is amazing, and the creatures are cute! It helps me focus a lot, and I prefer it to other games of the same genre. It's still new though, so there are some minor bugs (like positions sometimes randomly change when you move an object or character, and some of the clothes graphics get a bit tetchy at times) however, the game is new and quite good! Some things i'd love to see are: - Adjustable body types and weights - Nicer freckles textures, Vitiligo textures, acne textures and facial scarring - Adjustable tail colours and an ear toggle (cat ears and human ears look weird!), and maybe a set of moth wings! - Colour wheel OR a colour selection tool similar to the sims (The current colour system is a bit iffy at the moment.) - Fixed clothing textures and wall textures, as some outlines are not well adapted to other colours. - More clothes and furniture, or a workshop option so people can make and add their own stuff! (this is the least of my concern though, it's amazing as is and I admire the team's hard work!) - Maybe an idle mode where the characters go about simple tasks on their own accord while you work (eg. Writing, then walking over to the bed and napping, something like that! OBVIOUSLY THOUGH this sort of thing is for the far future, and it'd be nice to see, but honestly the game is great without it!) - Outside terrains you can change (eg. cyberpunk, ocean, underwater!) - More interactions with our lil pets! I LOVE them! Honestly, kudos to the team! This game is awesome, and it helps me focus loads. Having control over my virtual study space gives me a sense of control over my irl one, even when it's messy, and it makes studying a lot nicer for me, especially since it makes me feel like I can transfer myself and my avatar into another world while I'm studying!!

Really cozy game!! i love to have it run on the background while i relax, however, i do have many complaints: 1: The character customization - I wish there was more options to customize pieces of clothing. The blue outline on everything is also a bummer sometimes. 2: Room decorations - Same thing as with character customization, i wish the colour options for items were more wide and customizable. I also would like to see more room specific items, such as kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc. Or hobby/job specific things. Also more wall light decorations would be lovely. All in all i do not regret this purchase, but as i've read the mobile version is a lot better as of right now. I hope the PC version gets more updates and QOL updates :)

First of all, let me first say that this is not a game, therefore I will rate it as such. I have a few issues with the software, all of which are pretty minor and can be either avoided, or aren't major enough to warrant me to not recommend the software. So what is gogh primarily? - > Second monitor content. Its basically a custom version of your own lofi girl/chilledcow stream that you can customize to fit your desired look. The artstyle is very unique and adorable, the models, while lower in polygons, are very well done. The user interface is intuitive and straightforward with lots of ways to customize your room. You can even add your own images onto photos or monitors but more on that later. The music is standard lofi music, which is to say pleasant and non obstrusive. You can even add extra sounds such as rain or the clicking of someone else typing on their mechanical keyboard. Very well done overall. If these were the only features, I'd say that it has its niche and some people might enjoy playing around with it for a bit and that, to those people, this software would be worth it. Which is to say, it has other qualities that I personally value even more than the rest: Tools for productivity. I mentioned that this software is second monitor content. The best way to engage with Gogh is to put it on your second screen while doing something productive like writing a boot, studying, coding or anything that isn't leasure things like gaming or watching movies, simply because of something I will touch on later. The software provides you with simple tools like a promodomo timer, allowing you to set interval timers so you can in theory go for 25 minutes of studying and 5 minutes of break time over and over until you completed your task. Tasks? Yes, you also have a checklist that you can add and check off points on. Everything you'd need to keep to a strickt schedule is there. Schedule? Yeah, you got that too. You can also have a little calendar in which you can mark when you did things so you can keep track of your own progress. There is even more than that in the software, but so far, I haven't engaged with the camera mode or poses much. Mostly because I primarily use it as my jukebox, timer and organizer. Now onto the bad. The software takes up a lot of resources. How many? So many that my work laptop cannot handle it with an i7 alongside the rest of the software it needs to run like Visual Studio. The GPU requirement also worries me a little bit. A GTX 1060 as the recommended GPU for perspective is still good enough to play things like Monster Hunter World. Let's not talk about the RAM. This software will actively cost you energy, which is to say, its not too big of an issue, but I don't think the software would need these resources with everything thats going on. All of this is a worrying trend in video games lately. Which is to say, my PC at home doesn't have any issues running the software while also having far more demanding things running alongside it including full games, Godot and an overtabbed firefox. So with a dedicated GPU, it works flawlessly. Integrated will see issues if you need to do dev work though, so be weary of that. And now for my biggest gripe with the entire software. You have the option of using your own images. The monitors look like 16:9. However, as I confirmed with the developers, somewhere, a designer went for 21:10 instead for the selectable aspect ratio for images. This is weird and completely removes my ability to create a mirror look for my Gogh room but alas, it is what is it. Should you get gogh? Maybe. If you want to get somewhere in life while also appearing busy on steam so people don't message you? Yes. Go for it. You can alternatively open up 2 browser tabs for 1, the promodomo timer that is freely available on your browser (Just gotta sell your soul to ad platforms, go ahead do it!) and 2 the lofi girl stream of your choice. But let's say you wanted to test the software out first. Gogh has an android version you can download for free. See if that works for you. If it does, great. If it doesn't, I'ma say that 12€ really isn't a lot of money. Heck, Oppenheimer cost me 13€ to buy the blue ray for. I have yet to watch the movie, but I'll get more value from Gogh than Oppenheimer. And to the devs. Please add a checkbox that allows me to select 16:9 images for my monitors. Thats all I'm asing for at this point. Also for the Tux chills out there. Works with Proton. Only thing that I found to not be working was the virtual camera, but I cannot rule out OBS to be at fault for this.
