YouTube Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9rkiKdzo9k Exo Wanderers is an exciting new arcade-style twin-stick shooter tank game. Earth is dying, and humanity's survival depends on finding a habitable planet in a nearby solar system. As an Exo Wanderer, you’re sent to explore a lush alien world, but you're not alone. Use your tank to defend your base from waves of aggressive aliens as you fight to secure a new home for humanity. The gameplay is simple yet engaging: Destroy enemies and defend your base, all while collecting a mix of temporary and permanent upgrades. Build your tank to suit your playstyle with a variety of weapons, armor, and power-ups. There's also couch co-op for those lucky enough to have friends to team up with. The tank mechanics are more arcade-focused than realistic, so don’t expect heavy simulation. While the story provides a solid backdrop, it's not the highlight of the experience. Voice acting is functional but unremarkable—serviceable for players who prefer not to read. Visually, the game shines with a charming, cartoonish art style, and the world feels vibrant and full of character. The levels are creatively divided into stages, each with its own unique challenges and enemies. However, the gameplay could use some polish. While fun, aiming can sometimes feel unresponsive, and enemy AI is often unintelligent, with many enemies getting stuck or failing to actively hunt you down. Despite these issues, Exo Wanderers has tons of potential. The casual, destruction-filled gameplay and customization options are a blast, and the game offers a lot of room for improvement in future updates. If you love tank games or twin-stick shooters and don’t mind the lack of hyper-realism, Exo Wanderers is worth checking out. I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

Beautiful game! Controls are easy, and I like how more and more hints are dropped about them as you progress. The tanks are awesome and the levels are interesting. The cuteness of the levels contrasts sharply with the Liu Cixin-level existential dread of the story... There's a lot of conversation but I don't feel like it's too much; you just have to remember to wait until it's finished before moving around so you can pay attention to it. I haven't tried playing it with anyone else but it seems like it'd be a lot of fun. I made it to level 1-5 but maybe I don't understand what to do? A green arrow appears but it keeps leading me left, then right again, then left again so maybe I'm doing something wrong. The power-ups and components and various tanks seem like there's too much stuff, but that actually seems to enhance the game experience. Can't wait to play more!
