This is a top-down game a la' Max Payne style that has got a unique charm all its own.
It's not just a walk in the park, though—be prepared to break a sweat, especially if you're going for the hardcore mode.
It's challenging, but in a good way!

Very refreshing game, there are so many ways you can play it, and its got a LOT of potential!
With reflexes on max, its very damn difficult to beat it, especially in Hardcore mode.
I absolutely loved the priest, while the lady is pretty damn OP tbh. Looking forward to more chapters!

Intense, fun, mindless shooter with a name that fits the gameplay and tone really well. It is quite challenging and that's what got me hooked tbh. You can also use different strategies. I lean towards more stealth in general but not all levels allow it, and that's fine. The graphics are pretty decent for this genre and I like the story and characters, especially The Priest.

Very promising! Feels like Hotline Miami with Sin City inspired visuals and vibe. Gameplay, visuals and music are solid. There are certainly areas of improvement but it's early access and hopefully they will polish it.

Never played Hotline miami before, so can't tell if it works like it or not as I see a lot of other reviews about it.
What i can tell you is my experience with this game.
I felt under pressure the whole time, in a good way.
It was like SuperHot again without the VR.
Go in a level, shot a dude, get stabbed from behind.
Reload, go in a level, shoot the dude, turn around shoot the dude behind me. Get shot from another angle i didn't know.
Reload. Shoot shoot die.
Reload. Shoot shoot. What, that's all?
Next level repeat.
Shoot shoot, Ran out of ammo on my super awesome starting weapon, switch to shitty Uzzi. see better weapon go grab it.
Shoot shoot ran out of ammo again, no weapons in range, melee.
Oh that's a cool weapon i like.
Discover i can move the camera forward, game changer.
Strategically looking forward, aim my shots better to conserve ammo.
get shot from behind cause my camera is forward.
Reload.
Reload.
Reload.
Until you win.
Try it. You'll run out of ammo. You'll get frustrated. But when you kill them all perfectly without alerting anyone?
I'm a hitman baby! Wait, wrong game. Or is it?!
Cheers.

I'm a huge fan of Hotline Miami and I usually buy similar games. I wouldn't say this one is better than Hotline, cause it's not, but it's sure better than Hong Kong Massacre and OXTO which is something. The dev roadmap looks promising too

Pro: it's fun, has the vibe of a potentially ultra cool cocktail (Hotline Miami meets Sin City). Love how the shift key lets you play silent assassin, not just gung-ho.
Con: motion sickness-inducing camera, all-knowing enemies that shoot me through doors and walls even when I'm not making any noise, superhuman reflexes required to perform combos, no cloud save.
Temporary recommendation, will turn into negative if the above things aren't fixed by release. I'll update this to add more stuff when I face-plant into it.

It's Early Access, but I can't put it down!
An unforgiving Hotline Miami top down game with a few original twists up its sleeves. I just got to the 2nd character and things changed a bit. Very curious how it develops further!

Really fun Hotline Miami Like game, still needs some polish on some UI elements but the core gameplay loop is there.
