This is a casual version of the original Shadowhand game, where all the turn-based battles have been taken out. Otherwise, the story, graphics, and levels are the same. The levels which were formerly battle levels are now one-up, one-down solitaire games, with a token animated "battle" at the end. Some of the weapons and clothing items from the original game were removed, as well as all the consumables. The weapons and clothing now go only towards buffing up aspects of the solitaire play. There's a new passive ability card which unlocks late in the game to help with getting a higher multiplier. It's way easier without the battles, but there's still some grind factor because the cards still won't cooperate with you at times. I completed the game 3 separate times to fully try out the 3 difficulty levels, and it was about the same amount of time per playthrough (~10 hours to beat per run, with 3 stars on all levels). To compare, it took me well over 100 hours to do the same with the original, and there was much more of a difficulty gradient between relaxed, normal, and hard modes. Not a bad makeover for those wanting a casual game and has a great storyline. It's not the total cakewalk the Regency Solitaire games are because the layouts are bigger. But I prefer the original Shadowhand with all the extra strategy involved for the duels.
