This game is super relaxing. The music is lovely and the animations are so cute. If you need something to help you relax or just some good background music while you work or craft or whatever, this game is it!

It's not really worth it as the game is currently sadly. Theres not many options of money making or decorating. The game itself is not very good at guiding the player and telling them what to do or what different items do. I'm aware this is made to run in the background, but even that takes ages to get anywhere. I would suggest looking into other cozy idlers instead of buying this one.

The economics makes no sense. It took me about eight hours to unlock the first additional panda (though I shall admit that I did not use the money optimally) - and it's quite essential for scaling up since the type of machine does not make a big enough difference that adding more pandas is the only tangible way to increase your revenue. I know it's an idle game but God, the money really comes at a snail's pace.
But maybe that's the point... I also bought Rusty's Retirement recently, and that one is slightly too fast-paced for me to concentrate on working in conjuncture. In contrast, I really had to wait for Bao Bao. Ugh. Fine.

That sounds snarky, but when you remember that there is a degree of satisfaction to be felt when a load of laundry is done, it's not a totally negative statement.
But, in total honesty, this simply isn't the best idler I've played. It's cute, and clearly made with love, but [i]Bao Bao's Cozy Laundromat[/i] is a bit lackluster compared to other idlers on the market.
The formula is as follows: you buy a washing machine or a dryer (preferably a set), in either retro or modern design. Bao Bao the Panda runs back and forth doing laundry. After you earn enough coins to buy several machines in one colour, you can then buy them in a new colour set, which earns more money than the previous set did.
Then that's really it.
Sure, you can hire new pandas to do more work, but other than that there's little else you can do to speed up the process, so it remains slow going, even for an idler. Most of what you can buy is purely decorative with no other real function, or doesn't pay for itself (such as the cats, that wander around and occasionally scratch at the machines, earning you a couple of bucks).
The game doesn't explain much of what the different items do, expecting you to trial and error purchasing things, which can be disappointing when you realise that various items are purely decorative (the hampers, the plants), while others can earn money (the cats, the ironing board), and others are just there for the pandas to interact with occasionally (the benches, the vending machines).
Occasionally things will also just stop working. Machines can break and a panda will take time out of washing things and earning money to fix it. If you don't have enough pandas, this slows things down a lot. However there were also times where I'd find pandas standing idle while a machine burned, or they'd wander into the cloud-covered part of the map and get themselves stuck until I restarted the application.
The only incentive-based goal of the game is to collect coins; there is very little to unlock other than the various colours of washing machine, so once you've unlocked those there's nothing else to do. There's nothing else to collect or strive for, just waiting patiently for the pandas to earn enough money to unlock the final 100, 000 coins steam achievement.
[i]Bao Bao's Cozy Laundromat[/i] is cute, but it's not much fun, which, when compared to other available idlers that give you various hits of dopamine and a frequent sense of accomplishment as they run in the background while you get your work done, make it a bit of a wash in comparison.

Is game where you run a laundromat and all the NPS are Pandas. Very cute but not much else you can really do outside buying more machines. It's one of the most basic idle games. And I guess a start to it if you're new.

Nice little idler to have on in the background. Bought it somehow completely missing the idle tagging and went into it thinking it was more of a diner dash style management game. Still don't regret it but probably wouldn't actively go for a similar game.

It's a stupidly slow progressing game with nothing at all to do. There's no help/guide inside the game after the initial tutorial and only God knows what each icon means when you are buying washing machines or dryers. Making an idle game doesn't mean that you have to waste the computer's processing power. You should also add some more tasks/quests that would entice the user more. There are literally no features at all in the game other than buying stuff and letting your pandas do your work. Also, another gripe of mine was that the cost scaling for the pandas is extremely unfair.
Some feature updates that I would suggest:
1. Upgrades for pandas/washing machines/dryers so they can work faster.
2. Give trackers for what you current earn rate is so that you understand where to invest and where not to.
3. Balance the costs of buying new pandas.
Other bonuses to have:
1. Maybe make the pandas interact with the decorations in the room, that would be fun.
2. Clickable pandas where they perform some kind of action

I feel a little bad to leave this game a thumbs down because I think it is an adorable art style and it’s very inexpensive but having played many other idler games similar to this, this one is just severely lacking in content. You will unlock everything in a very short amount of time and there is little to no interactivity with anything outside of decorating or rearranging. The pandas have no upgrades, customizations, nothing. It’s extremely slow to get going and even though I 100%ed it, it was incredibly boring. It has very cute bones but they really need to add more to the game. There are many other idlers that actually have some more interactivity and things to do over this one. Hopefully they will update it in the future to make it more fun.

9/10: for someone who literally just wants an idle game.
If you're a completionist and don’t have much time to play, this game is for you. Just go AFK and you’ll earn the achievements.
Gameplay-wise, you don’t really have to do anything other than leave the game open. You also don’t need to buy a lot of washing machines and dryers. You’ll actually earn more money by buying more pandas, though they’re very expensive.

honestly, there's just not that much going on. i kept waiting for like, a scale-able system or something. can I give the pandas skills? can i promote them? can i give them better benches, better food? can i give them specific tasks or jobs to focus on? can i upgrade the washers and driers? can i add more services? do customers come? can i lose customers? can I have a franchise? can i design other rooms besides this one?
no no no no no no no. and that sucks actually. as is, this is a screensaver that you can decorate and nothing more. and if that's literally all you want? hell yeah.
but you can't just have me decorate a single room from a single menu and call it an idle game and charge 4 dollars for it. despite apparently what they seem on the surface, the idle game genre has standards, and unfortunately "leave the game on for five days straight so my pandas can farm for coins for an achievement because there is no reason to earn this much money in game because I have bought every single items 5 times already" isn't considered a mark of quality.
there's good bones here. I just wish they had any meat at all on them.
