I really feel that this version of The Exit 8 was better than the original. I also felt that it was easier to study the anomolies faster, but also feel absolutely uncomfortable at times. I did complete this and not the original, but feel that I got enough of The Exit 8 universe that I did not need to continue once completing this version.
60/100 Fun VR Experience, Creepy But Also a Satisfying Puzzle Game
GAMEPLAY The VR aspect really doesn't add anything to the game except the fear factor, but I'm a sucker for anything that immerses me. So I'll try VR anything. The gameplay is basic. Move around, wave your hands around for comedic effect. Dance. The loop is simple. Run, look for anomalies, and pick a direction. Simple but satisfying. SOUND DESIGN Footsteps. They're crisp. Fluorescents. Buzz buzz. STORY Idk. THE WORLD A metro station and heaven and hell? VISUALS Not the best but not the worst. Definitely looked better than some VR games, but the doors were tiny. MULTIPLAYER None. CONCLUSION If you want a fun experience for friends to watch, it is def worth a few laughs. I am satisfied with my purchase. It's not groundbreaking or anything, but it is definitely entertaining and looks nice. Has a surprising amount of accessibility options. This one is an easy yes for me.

incredibly unnerving experience in VR, I very highly recommend this (especially as a party game with newcomers!)
