Nice game , it´s like a resident evil clone but simplified and pixelated.

Price is fair.

I haven't finished the game yet, but so far its a very enjoyable horror game! its scared the crap out of me a couple of times and the game play is similar to resident evil but in a 2D arcade style! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good game to play!

Having played the demo, I already knew to expect a high quality game from Seek, and I am happy to report that I have not been led astray. This is a genuinely really good survival horror game that should be on a lot more peoples radar. It's a good length too with 2 endings, a ranking system, and an unlockable nightmare mode that really makes the game shine, embracing a deep scarcity of resources, quickly reanimating enemies and limited saves.
It should not be understated just how good the nightmare mode experience is. My only complaint with it is that I would have absolutely loved to have it unlocked from the start so I could have been crushed violently on my first playthrough, but it is nice to earn an increased challenge for completion too. But having played on nightmare, it felt to me like the real meat of the experience, as I was forced to pick and choose much more carefully how each enemy encounter was handled, resulting in my exploring of all the environmental traps to be used to my advantage that I simply didn't need on hard mode.
The story is interesting, not ground breaking but it's got heart and is quiet well told (if not well written - due to the translation most likely), with moments of real impact. The translation to English is imperfect, with a fair amount of glaring typos and a handful of sentences that I never figured out exactly what they were trying to get at. That said, the overall story was pretty digestible so it ended up having little effect on the experience as a whole.
I'd have to say, my only true complaint with this game lies in the text. There is no way to hurry the text up, so once you've engaged in a text interaction, such as attempting to open a locked door or pick up an item, the entire text block has to get spelled out before you can move on. This WOULD be a very minor grievance for me if it weren't something you come across under pressure consistently throughout the game. I can't count the number of times I took damage from enemies while waiting for the message that a door was locked to finish appearing or waiting to pick up a first aid spray and waiting for the message to finish so I could do it, only to need to use it right away because of this issue.
Hopefully this issue gets resolved in an upcoming patch, because otherwise the game plays phenomenally well. Everything else is great. The musical themes work beautifully for the game, there are some really cool and creative enemies and challenging boss fights, a really nice cold colour palette and cohesive art direction that tie in wonderfully with the surprisingly heavy narrative beats and written notes that shine a harsh and honest light on the reality of depression and trauma and how it colours your world view. There is something real here, both in gameplay and storytelling.
Don't let my gripes with the text dissuade you from checking this game out - it's very affordable. So if you are a fan of psychological horror and/or classic survival horror, then you should think no further and just play this game. You won't be disappointed.
