one of the best FMV I've ever played

This is a really good game. The girls are great, story is pretty straight forward but I found all the storylines to be enjoyable. I definitely recommend this game. 8.5/10

One of the best FMV ive played. The girls' visual are amazing, arguably one of the best. Story is a bit short, but easy to understand. Complete the games, and you'll get one of the best set of photos from FMV games, ALL TIME.

Although not quite up with the best, [b]Sorry! I surrounded beauty![/b] (the English title sucks) is a very respectable FMV dating sim that just needed a few small improvements. You play as Chen Mo and the game opens with you as the boss of a company that you instantly destroy following a bad business deal. This leads to debt and eviction. Trying to restart your business and clear your debts [i]is[/i] part of the narrative but it needed to be more prominent. You meet five admirers who help in various ways. One is your old assistant who works multiple jobs to pay your debt. She finds you some accommodation with a pop idol that initially doesn’t trust you but gives you some purpose. A third helps you get a job and occasionally beats you up. The fourth is an old friend and lawyer, trying to recover your money, who needed more flashbacks. And the final one is a mysterious benefactor that might not even be in the game much if you go down certain paths. There are several funny scenes but the standout is when you split time between two of them and run back-and-forth across a street while dodging obstacles (with QTE). While the admirers are varied, they don’t really have personal stories. The one that beats you up at least has somebody she wants to reject and hires you as her boyfriend. Admittedly, similar games don’t usually have deep character arcs, but this continues to be a missed opportunity. All the main endings have a setup element, and possible failure routes, but they are a little short and don’t feel rewarding. The game length is fine, taking 3 hours first run and about 6.5 hours to see everything. The five actresses are definitely good. And Hu Jingnan, who plays the pop idol (Lee Yuner), reminds me of the popular actress Zhong Chenyao ([b]Love is All Around, Game of Fate 2[/b]) with her excellent screen presence. One big disappointment is that the video quality is below average. Some scenes are crisp but most are too blurry. It also uses moderate face filters, which unnecessarily smoothes skin and makes things look even smudgier. Audio is sadly entirely ADR (automatic dialogue replacement) but at least it’s not as bad as some others in the genre. English support was recently added and is quite good, with full phone translation and mostly accurate pronouns. So overall: bad name, good game.
