Found this after seeing it on itch.io. What a great game! You start at level 1 with zero gold each time, and make your way through different paths marked with the levels of the enemies in them. Every level you get to distribute the stats you gain.
Gold is used to buy gear which is a permanent unlock. You have another character that has different gear and stat emphasis as well. When both of you beat a boss, both characters get an extra point for talents.
The game loop is simple yet satisfying. High recommend if you like this style of game.
