If you know Elemental War and Elemental War 2, this one will feel familiar right from the beginning. It's a decent, complex TD. You'll love it if you like the genre.

Game is abit different compared to part 2 if you played that one because you build on a grid now instead of freely, but feels pretty ok. Seems to look better even though it uses mostly the same gfx, but they added some neato fx like fog and such.
Gameplay wise didn't change much so if you liked the previous one you'll also like this one. It's pretty low intensity most of the time but difficulty can really spike if you don't keep up with damage output and board cleaning.
Feature wise there's a map editor now which is pretty cool and there's scenarios you can try instead of just the sandbox mode. Yeah.

The game is like a classic TD, it's fun for casually playing from time to time. I played the previous parts and it's like a remake of EW1 but incorporates visual and gameplay improvements from EW2. There's many towers and elements which can be confusing as many do similar things but I like the new scenarios besides a few that kinda felt unbalanced like the straight line one. But I recommend it if you want to relax with a chill game from time to time.

Clockwork Origins does it again.
I loved Elemental War 2, if you played it, this is more of it. The formula works and is a ton of fun. I totally dig the leaderboards, haven't actually tried any of the online modes, but I love the tower variety and how calm it is in single player.

This tower defense game is very well made. It also has several difficulties so no matter if you look for some easy playthrough or difficult challenge, give it a try. It also has scoreboards, pvp and is mostly skill based.

There is something relaxing in playing a tower defense game for sure. Brings back some good old childhood memories. Building towers, planning out which tower combinations work best together and then watching them kill waves andwaves of monsters - perfect. And Elemental War Clash does that well. For what it is, I certainly do enjoy playing it.
Let's start off with the visuals. They're not too overwhelming, which is good. Towers are decently recognizable, the terrain giving off nice fantasy vibes, monsters a bit generic but at least there's a variety of them with different visuals. Some of the biomes make me feel like actually walking around as a fantasy RPG character! Considering this is, from what I recall, the third game in the series, maybe that's something to think about for the future? Maybe expanding the universe beyond just tower defense? I'd love to try that and I know small studios like these like to innovate.
My biggest issues so far were with the game interface. And I don't mean the visuals, more like the actual UI/UX interaction. Sometimes it's hard for me to figure out how much an upgrade costs, which towers have items on them etc. Even moving around the menu. Not everything is very intuitive. I also noticed quite a few small 'glitches' related to the UI, although nothing game breaking.
Second issue is the world building. I enjoy that maps have some slight dialogues, but I feel like there's a missed potential in not putting more effort in the lore. Would be great if there was more known about the world, the characters, the monsters. And the potential of having a nice tower defense world franchise is here.
But considering that this is a small game made by a small game studio, it's very enjoyable and I'd gladly recommend it - especially tower defense fans. I am looking forward to trying out the multiplayer mode in the next days too.
