Not really worth it, but if you're gonna buy this, make sure you do it at the begginning of your game or it will be completely useless.

Such a small DLC which I would say should be a little cheaper. But, its still insanenly cheap, and the 2 items are both pretty nice. The wing skin (Which can be access by going to the arcane section, clicking on flight, and instead of clicking on upgrades you click on wings) is pretty good and a nice change of pace to the general color scheme of the game. I have not tested the weapon much, but I have it fully upgraded and it seems pretty good so far.

Easily the weakest of the Pre Order DLC we got so far, however is it good? Well... The weapon is useless when you first get it, however when you level it up, it turns into the abduction gun from SR4 except it can launch a lot of enemies into the air, overall very good and I enjoy it. As for the wings, it looks really cool and I use it all the time, they do nothing except make you like awesome! Overall wait for a sale or price drop, it's a nice DLC, but very lacking compared to the Genki Pack from SR3 and the Commander and Cheif pack in SR4.

I wish there was a meh option for reviewing things. I got this as part of pre-ordering the game since Volition pretty much owns my soul, and honestly the new wing color is more visually appealing than the default orange. The skull weapon is useless unless you upgrade it fully, at which point it turns into the abduction gun from Saints Row 4 It is up to you if you get it or not, you're not missing out on anything since you'll spend probably 6 hous in the game if you take the time to get gold in all the challenges

This was included in the full Saints Row franchise pack and honestly, I don't regret it, even though it only adds two new elements to the game: the first being a set of recolored wings and the second being a new weapon.

The Jester's Skull is a fun weapon to use. Though at first it seems like a lame laser which deals low damage, needs recharge quite often, and lacks accuracy (compared to the starting hand gun), but when you upgrade it to max, it can easily take out large groups of enemies (you'll hardly need to rest it for recharge), except for tanks. The fun part comes from the special upgrade, which creates a magic circle under every enemy slain directly by this weapon. The magic circle lifts enemies and husks within its area to high altitude. When it expires, they fall to their death (winged demons are stunned when hovering over a circle).

What is it? The Devils Workshop Pack contains two items: one weapon and one costume. [*]The weapon, Joker's Skull, is a laser much like the ones from previous games. When fully upgraded, it effectively instakills those in a radius around the victim via levitation. [*]The skin is a variant of the default wings, in purple.
Is it worth it? Personally, the short answer is: No. I bought this DLC when it was on sale, to a) 'complete' my game, and b) because other reviews said the weapon was OP. I got this DLC after I had completed the game, so I can only imagine it's quite useful in the early game (though having completed the game first-time on Hardcore without it, not nessisary), but having already got every other weapon, Joker's Skull did not stand out at all. It's a laser; you point and hold, and it overheats. The levitation is fun, but in terms of gameplay I almost immidiately stopped using it for general enemies. It's good against the big guys, but not much more so than anything else. I didn't try the wings out yet - something to keep the next playthrough interesting - but it's just a different colour, nothing more. Summary: Frankly this DLC just isn't worth its asking price, even on sale. The weapon is generally uninteresting and feels like it was cut out of the main game purely to be DLC, while the skin is just a recoloured 'item' (which I'm sure there are already mods for, in a variety of other colours). If this sounds appealing to you, then get it! For what it is, it's solid and completely fits with the game (though the Skull is held like a SMG), but in my opinion it costs too much for too little.

Hello Friends. This dlc has two items basically on it...new wings for the hero's and a new weapon. This is actually the items that came with the game. At least people can buy it as a dlc. Recommended for purple saint wings and a new skull weapon.

As a pre-order bonus, it's pretty good, but for $1.99 USD without that pre-order? Probably not worth it. In this, you only get two things: a different wing skin and one weapon. As others have mentioned, the wings look nice and the weapon is only good when fully upgraded. I found myself using the weapons based off of the 7 Deadly Sins more though, so I didn't use the Skull much. If Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell goes on sale, pick this DLC up for sure, as the main game IS worth the original $19.99-- but if you've got to spend more than that, you might as well not bother with this content. In summary, good DLC but a bit high in price for what you get.
