overpriced, minute "DLC" including one battle one item. not worth the time or money really as you should be able to finish the game with none or a few rare runes. If there arent any REAL DLC's coming for this game I will be sorely dissapointed

DLC verdict: Don't get it Comment: I wondered if it is really that bad so I thought I would count the number of actions needed to finish this. First 5x right-click and 5x left-click to dispatch the minions with the bow. Then ctrl + left-click to stealth jump on the captain and couple of left clicks to down him and use a ground finisher. The reward was the Voice of Power dagger rune (+10 HP during stealth drain/brand). So that is about 10 clicks (minions) + 5 or 6 clicks (captain) to beat this DLC. It is part of the Season Pass/Premium Edition/GOTY Edition so you will get it that way. But buying it alone is just not worth the minute of gameplay and a semi-decent rune... ------------------------------------------------------------------ If you liked this DLC review you can find more in my Review Corner.

DLCs are sometimes things that you don't even know what you are buying. this dlc, you know what you get, 1 guy who you can defeat for 1 rune which as i remember was not even anything special. 5/10 . not cool dlc == if you read this until here i made a game for iOS called "FatHatBoy" please check it out <3

This is only good if you got the goty edition or the season pass. It adds some actually tougher guys which makes it more fun, but still if you didn't get the season pass or goty edition then you wasted some money because it only adds a couple extra things from what i've seen

Most of these DLC's don't add a whole lot of content, just a bigger variety of Orc warbands wandering the lands of Mordor and also a little more density in the Orc population. I bought the DLC in a sale, along with all others so they were only a couple of cents, but buying this out of a sale isn't something I'd recommend, only when it's very cheap and otherwise I'd recommend buying it on G2A.com, which is far cheaper and just as reliable.

*Warning* Honestly do not know why they still offer the DLCs separately except to trick people who don't know to buy the GOTY upgrade that includes all of the game's DLC. None of the DLC including this one is worth buying separately when the GOTY upgrade is $9.99. None of the DLC are "great" but if you want a little more don't buy them individually. Just adds a single encounter, don't get by itself.

Save your money and buy the Goty Edition please this dlc is not worth anything it should be in the base game so get the goty edition. nothing more.

This... No. The other reviewers commenting about this being 3 minutes of gameplay are being overly generous. It was a level 8 captain with 4 or 5 followers. Thats it. 10 seconds to dispatch the followers, 15 seconds for the captain. This is a shameless cash grab by a morally bankrupt company and I would recommend anyone and everyone stay away from any cruddy DLC they put out in the future. I didn't even pay directly for this, I got it through the season pass (so, yeah okay I paid for it, but I didn't know this was going to be part of it) and I still feel ripped off.

I've stopped playing this game as I've ran out of things to do. I was midly excited when I saw this new content was added. After defeating the 'Skull Crusher' in about 60 second, I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth due to the shoddy fight. I've fought regular uruks that are tougher than this guy. And if it's not about the fight alone, then the rest of the experience was bad: The new character doesn't even say anything remotely related to his rank or position within Sauron's forces. Another bit of doanloadable content that is pathetic, and at this point, I'm not even sure the Celebrimbor or Hunter DLC will save my attitude towards this game. *Review targeted at DLC content and not the base gameplay or it's merits*

Complete waste of time. One easy, low level boss guaranteed to drop what will, in all likelihood, be a mediocre rune. I spent more time looking for the quest than completing it. I have the season pass and I feel ripped off. If you're considering buying this, I'll make it easy for you. Don't bother. Absolutely fuming with the devs for releasing something so half-hearted. I want a whole new map with quests. Anything else is dull. Even the new playable characters are just reskins with absolutely no new gameplay to them.
