I put off buying this for a while but finally caved. Similar systems to the MiG-21 so it wasn’t a culture shock. It’s very easy to fly and land. I did it right from the start. I don’t think the Approach feature of the autopilot is implemented yet but I’m sure it’s on its way. If you’re tired of flying an MFD with wings but want something simple to fly for a change, this plane is it. It doesn’t carry a lot of weapons or have very long legs so you’ll be RTB-ing a lot. If the F-16/18 are A-Wings and X-Wings , the MiG-29 is the TIE Interceptor. Don’t forget to play Tchaikovsky as you fly her!

I own the Viggen, the Mirage 2000, the Jeff, and the Hornet. I've never had as much fun in DCS as I have in the Fulcrum. This jet will heavily restrict your situational awareness, and it will force you to learn fuel management. The radar requires you to set it up PERFECTLY for every engagement. But god... I laugh like a madman when I get a kill. Take the time to truly learn this jet. You won't regret it.
