This is a touching story.
The tale begins with an introduction to the clan of cats—an idyllic existence, a structured society, a strong and peaceful community. Harmony reigns among them. But then, they gather, steel themselves, and march off to war.      We watch as the mice are overrun by the cats. A cruel, unjust act—yet, at the same time, the cats, too, seek to live, even if survival means killing. I saw a mouse child, tears streaming, desperately crawling toward the walls. I saw a mother and daughter fleeing, while others stood their ground—pitchforks, sickles, axes in hand—resisting the invaders with unyielding courage. Fear, pain, despair filled the air. The mice were no different from the cats. They lived in peace, loved, built their world. So why did the cats bring this upon them?      At first, we sympathize with the cats, believing in their innocence, in their noble intentions. We know nothing of the mice—perhaps they are wretched creatures. But as we witness their world collapse, doubt takes root. Are the cats truly on the right side? We begin to feel for the mice, to see them as victims.      Then, the cats break through the walls, chaos flooding the city. The mice refuse to surrender. They fight to save as many lives as they can. Some lose hope, some accept their fate. A family—a mother, a father, and their daughter—loses everything, but for the child, the greatest loss is not her home or safety, but her beloved stuffed bear, left behind in the frantic escape.      Meanwhile, the cats storm the lord’s keep. The ranks of the invaders remain strong, while the mice fall like wheat before the scythe. The cats are mighty warriors, hardened, worthy of the legendary Meowgalla. And amid the bloodshed, betrayal thrives—opportunists plunder treasures, blinded by greed, oblivious to the peril around them.      The royal family stands on the edge of ruin. The king cowers behind his wife. His underage daughter, weapon in hand, stands defiantly against the conquerors. His son—risking everything—fights for his family.
And what about the gameplay?
The game is good. I must say, finding items here is genuinely difficult—more so than in any similar game I’ve played. Without hints, the challenge is immense, something I can’t recall experiencing before. A definite plus. The pacing is well-structured, transitions are smooth, and the locations tell their own stories.

A Hidden object game with nice pictures and a challenging attitude. I do like the Artwork and the little animations. Also Cat-Vikings are super cool.

Find All 5 is as technically interesting as the rest of the series. The usual "find three different kinds of objects at a time", the sudden burst of color and motion when you complete a section, imaginative use of object placement, and a hint if you need one (which now recharges in one minute instead of three). Challenging but not impossibly difficult. The artwork is their usual high quality and there's a slider for glare reduction. However, the subject of the game is a major departure from the devs' family-friendly collection. This is NOT a game for very small children, and parents will need to judge which of their kids are ready for a brutal history lesson. The tone of this game is much darker than the previous entries, both in characters' expressions and actions, and in the music. This is not cheerful. We begin in the Viking village where a raiding party is preparing to leave. Nearly everyone is scowling. We see
an old woman beating her husband with her cane, and a toddler torturing a snake
. The raiders invade an outlying village, a town and finally a castle. There are fights and looting, with many people weeping and fleeing in terror. The game ends with the raiders in possession of all. I finished the game in seven hours, but made extensive use of the hint button because I found it to be unpleasant, and just wanted to get it over with. Sorry, devs, but that's my honest experience with it. I wasn't expecting something that dark from you, and that made it shocking. I'm looking forward to your next one, and a return to the lighter side. 8 of 10.

I love this series, but am not fond of this game. 1. As others have mentioned, the theme is not pleasant or relaxing. These games have come to be a great stress reliever for me - something cute and lighthearted that I can play after a busy workday, even if only for a few minutes. I have played the previous ones multiple times, but I don't think this one will be added to the rotation. 2. I find the gameplay a little frustrating. Maybe it is a personal problem, but I am having more difficulty recognizing items for what they are this time around. The background seems to obscure things more, and the items themselves are often very stylized, making them a little harder to identify. 3. I found the music in the previous games charming, and I felt it contributed to the overall appeal of the games. The music in this game is more agitating. It fits the theme, but I don't enjoy it as much.

This is "Tonal Dissonance: The Hidden Object Game." You start exploring a Viking village, looking for something from a set of three (3) groups, you enjoy the parallax artwork, and the relatively straightforward visuals for the genre. As you find items, the world gradually comes to life and by the time you've found your first 300 items, you've figured the game out. Then the next level starts and the tone shifts as this Viking village filled with Cat Vikings that you've explored starts to attack a neighboring village of Mouse People. I recommend that you play this without using any hints so you can get the most time out of it possible, but also so you can see the tonal whiplash and rough edges as closely as possible. "Oh, I'm looking for a carrot. This old lady's walking stick looks vaguely carrot-ish. I'll click it...and yes, it was a carrot, and this enabled her to run for her life away from all of the violence around her." "Oh, I'm looking for a lute. It's barely visible behind these two moving creatures so I have to wait for the right moment to click on it." "Oh, I'm looking for a jug, but not a vase. Is this a jug? I can't tell unless I slide the view over to the side so that the parallax element in front of it is out of the way." "I'm looking for crowns. The crowns on the shields count, but the crowns on the coins do not." "On this one item, and one item only, the item I need to click is on the furthest back parallax background layer." "I picked up this item from the top of a bucket, and a child that was hiding under the bucket rapidly began crawling towards the castle to find a safe haven."
