I do not advise getting this DLC. Why? Well, the problem does not lie with this specific DLC; however, my problem does lie with the fact that there is no other way to get DLC like this with an exact price anymore. The only way to get any DLC is to now go through the in-game shop and buy Platinum, the new in-game currency they recently introduced. Like any good game filled with micro-transactions, you can never buy the exact amount of the currency to get what you want, and always have to pay for more of said currency to get anything worthwhile. Also, like expected, one will be left with not enough currency to buy something else after purchasing what they desire. Therefore, one is left with unusable, worthless currency due to the weird conversions created out of thin air to get one to continue to buy the in-game currency. This is a TERRIBLE way to go and is a tactic typically reserved for phone games, not PC games. Avoid Idle Champions like the plague with this recent change. Its even worse than simply having a bunch of DLC with a transparent pricing, because at least you know how much it costs and wont be left with an unusable, worthless, in game digital currency that can never be used anywhere else. Another thing to note is that, when something does go on-sale, the amount of Platinum needed is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Something worth 1800 platinum is now 953, for example. One cannot simply BUY that weird amount of currency in the in-game shop. WTF? Avoid, avoid, avoid; 0/10.
