I'm really happy to see the return of one of my favourite games from when I was a kid. I can understand why some of the reviews are negative, especially surrounding the lack of players, but I'm more than happy so have spent the small amount of $7 AUS to support the developers. I look forward to following the growth of this game.

The game severely needs a PvE game mode because there is nobody playing this. Honestly, a "Killing Floor"-type experience would work well, especially with how you can build up a fortress of some sort and hold out.
I would really like to see this game succeed but for the time being, I cannot recommend.
Edit: I would also like the optimization to be better. I couldn't reach a smooth 60 FPS on an 11th Gen i3 with integrated graphics.

The game itself is great. It's pretty much a clone of Ace Of Spades (gosh I miss that game), but it's barley a month after the launch aaaand nobody is playing... There are 2 official servers and a few community ones, but all of them are empty.
The game need more players and recognition, but it seems that devs don't care much.
Such a shame...

Best FPS I've ever played, especially the zombie mode, where in players start off as survivors/humans and after a short amount of time a random set of players turn into zombies. Once a zombie kills a player they permanently turn into a zombie until the match is over. There are many strategies in zombie mode from building elaborate sky bases, to tunneling, to parkouring and run and gunning.

At this current state it's hard to compare it with AOS because there's limited quantity of servers, they all have about 100-300 ping and they're still all empty, but there's a chance it might reach AOS class. My favourite one was Mafia gamemode, that one seemed the most fun so I'm hoping they include extra gamemodes with time. At this current state I can't recommend the game though because of no active playerbase, neither can you test the game with bots which might actually get up the playerbase - you play with bots, other people join and eventually all bots just get replaced. Currently there aren't even bots available, but will follow with the updates

It is so similar to the original Battle Builder! Ace of Spades and Gmod were the 2 games that got me on steam. Heck I have had an AoS profile picture since my steam adventure started. I am excited to be a part of the Ace Squared journey. While the players are few and far between, when you do find a lobby, it is a blast!

wow ace of spades!!! i still remember the ace of spades battle builder one and i'm too poor as a kid to afford it back then, which is... i never had chance to try with it even when it got shutdown but after i discovered this game i find that it does really capture well of battle builder one while it is not that perfect, it's a great game but it needs more recognition and players as well :')
