interesting looking weapons and outfits but not worth the 10 doller price tag

Nice little extra to get, but only if it is on sales.

Just some nice cosmetic items to the game. They can break the balance of the game, if you manage to get them too early, but they become useless fast. So buy this on a discount.

Lots of people saying the items are bad because they are too expensive or not good when you have beat the game. Do yourself a favour. Start the game, go straight to town and get 50k+ from playing the memory game for acouple hours. Buy the best sword and armor in the game. Laugh your way to the bank

If you got it with the Pre-order it's worth it. Add's a higher degree of Role-play to the game with the extra outfits and weapons. But if you're thinking of buying it because you didn't pre-order, it's truely only worth it if you want to expand on the outfits/weapons. Other than that it's an OKAY DLC, not a great one.

adds in some intresting content, i got it because i pre-ordered, i recommend picking it up on sale if you really want it. its a matter of prefrence as the game feels complete enough without it.

Not worth the price that's for damn sure. But if you really love Fable and want more outfits then sure. Just use the infinite money menu exploit (Click an item you have a lot of, scroll down to sell max, go to another item type in the same tab and sell the first thing in that menu. Works only with mouse and keyboard, there are guides online that explain it better than this) to get all the stuff because they're over-priced in-game and are often worse than what you'll find just playing normally.

Much like my review of the Heroes and Villains "DLC"; unless you happen to find this on sale for next to nothing, it is absolutely not worth it. There is something you have to understand here, a couple things actually: This isn't "DLC". You aren't getting any "content". What you are getting, is you are getting Lionhead to trick you into spending money on community made mods that used to be free. Yes. This is correct. The majority of the the content of this DLC pack, as well as the other DLC pack, is stuff that had previously been modded into the original game, by the community, and used to be available as a free mod that you could just simply download and install. Lionhead basically stole from the modding community and profited off their work. I'd be willing to bet you could find a free version of all of this DLC online in the form of a mod. Now, that being said, even if we gave Lionhead the benefit of the doubt here, and pretended that they didn't just steal and re package mods, well guess what: you are paying them to do literally nothing. If you buy both DLC packs, at full price; you are essentially purchasing another full copy of the game, price wise, without getting anything in return. For the price of an entire game, you get 0 (zero) content added to the game. What you get is all stuff that literally already exists in the games data files. That sword? already exists, it's just only usable by an enemy. That armor? already exists, it's just only wearable by thunder. Those clothes? already exist, it's just only wearable by Lady Grey/guildmaster/etc. and so on and so forth. Literally every single thing they give you in these "DLC" packs. save for a couple items here and there (like the stupid wasp hammer thing, which is still arguable because it uses the wasp model) already exists as an in-game texture/asset/etc. and just simply needed to be re appropriated into something the player can use. But the bottom line is that all these assets already existed in the games files, and they are literally just being sold to you in a vaguely different form. It's the exact same thing the modding community has been doing for almost 20 years now, except the modding community never charged anybody 25$ for a bunch of stuff that already exists in the game.

Happy to have gotten it for free. I believe for reserving. That being said, I cannot justify a 10 dollar price tag for something such as this. It was out same day as the game. therefor falls under content made and actively stripped to be added later for a price. Sorry chaps. Have you guys even made a really "Good" fable since Fable 1 and Fable the lost Chapters?

Pros: -Fun new outfits -Content available early on, with some of the higher quality stuff appearing later Cons: -By the time you find it, the game already offers something better in terms of armor or damage potential -Bad value for amount of added content; no real "meat" added to the game Overall: Basically a DLC of extra outfits and weapons that are not normally available. The outfits are fun and the weapons are passable - using a dead fish to kill enemies is always entertaining. But there's nothing here revolutionary. The core game already has better armor available anytime you run across this expansion's content. 9.99 is too much. Might be worth it on a heavy sale. Bottom Line: Not really worth the money, even on a sale, but if you want extra outfits and weapons to choose from this could be for you.
