This is such an amazing and cozy game! If you like interior design within sims then you'll like this game. I found that this game is a great way to decompress. For early access too, it runs smoothly and I haven't ran into any issues with it. Definitely <3 a love for me. I'm excited to see more things coming out to use in the small spaces.

The game looked really cute and I like placing items, so I bought it. The feature of not showing the walls depending on the direction you look was nice, but it always gave priority to the bathroom(?). I bought it aware that there were not many items, I also thought about the possibility that new items might come later, but efficient work can also be done with the ones I have. Treating each of the items in the game (and places such as a window edge) as a surface has given us freedom as a nice feature in placement. I was a little annoyed by the locked features at the beginning of the game. Since those features weren't there, I played only to complete the missions. But I still don't know when the features unlock, because I decided to return the game. Also, every time I tried to add a lamp, the game crashed and it didn't close until I turned off the computer. It was also nice that the items weren't a problem when they were nested together. SO!.. It was nice, again and again. And I just got a little annoyed with the camera control personally. I'd like to be able to edit stuff as fps too, but it was added more for the final look and control.
Yeah. That's it. Okay, nice but the two of us didn't really get along, the game and me.

Such a cute little decoration game. Exactly what I wanted! You earn stars doing the levels, which you can then use to purchase more decorating items like cabinets, wallpaper, plants etc.
I love that nothing costs money and there are limitless options on how to design and style a room.
If you love the creative part of Sims, you'll love this game even more :)

Very chill game- You just decorate lil homes while lofi plays in the background. When you finish decorating a home with the things it wants you to add (like stoves and showers), and complete the level it gives you stars you can spend to unlock a tiny bit more furniture, or plants, etc.
Aaaaaand, that's really it. Not really a ton of items to add, or customize, but it is still early access and the road map for updates looks promising. I played this game while I had a headache, and it was pretty relaxing, I didn't have to think too much, and it took the focus off my brain pain, lol.
Hopefully they'll add steam achievements as well in the future. :)
A sandbox mode would also be AMAZING.

Small Spaces is like crack cocaine for chronic procrastinators. As a grad student, I have to make sure I don't have any assignments due before I play this game, because I'll open it for a "quick break" and accidentally spend 5 hours making my dream kitchen. The price is excellent for the amount of content already available, and the regular updates make me excited for what gets added in the future. The creator is also very receptive to feedback in the Discord. I highly recommend for anyone with even a passing interest

suuuper cozy, i do have a few lags here and there, probably becasue my PC is just ancient at this point, tho i do meet the minimum requirements. but it doesn't affect me a lot. would love more stuff in the future :)
tho there are a few things i saw in other reviews that were bugging me too, i'll just quute because i'm lazy :
- Can't place pillows on certain sofas without them glitching into the sofas
- Can't place flowers on top of certain dressers without them glitching in them
- Placing products close to a wall snaps them into the wall which is annoying when I don't want them to touch the wall (dunno if there is some key to prevent that from happening? If not, holding shift or some other key while placing item should give free placement feature without snapping problems)
- I can't always tell what I'm buying from only a small picture on catalog, so I'd love a feature where I could hover mouse over products on catalog and it would tell their name
- I'd love to have ceiling lamps in game too!

I love this so so so much!! Having AuDHD, the small spaces and constraints is just what I need not to get overwhelmed, and the requirements keeps me on track. The controls and HUD is easy to understand and operate. Oh, and I love that there's a little story attached to each level! I highly recommend this to everyone who loves cozy, decorating games!
