While I recommend this game, and have had an absolute blast playing it, once I hit 40 hours and had decided to 100% the game, it really started to show some of its weaknesses. The most major weakness is how badly your staff needs your help instead of being YOUR help. Namely, the washing/drying and ironing/folding staff members: they just can't keep up, their path-finding needs work, and the fact they prioritize the main wash room and/or the best washing/drying equipment needs some adjusting. However, these issues are not really a problem once you start raking in the cash, and by the time I had hit 100% of the achievements, I had over $500k in funds, but can be a problem when trying to efficiently get certain achievements in this game (any that need an X amount of something done for a certain customer). Now, the BIGGEST problem when getting all of the achievements is how long it'll take, and the three problem areas are as follows: the puker achievement, the custom t-shirt achievement, and the lint-roller achievement. Most other achievements can be sped up by focusing on a certain customer base once all machines are unlocked (which are some of the other grindy achievements mentioned previously). So, what makes these three particular achievements so much of a time-sink when compared to the others of a similar type? The RNG, pure and simple. You barely hit 6 customers a day for the custom T-shirt achievement, the puker also barely shows up when compared to the other random NPCs that you must fend off (smoker, graffiti kid, ect.), and the lint-roller achievement also falls into this same category as the previous two; the lint just does not show up often enough. Granted, the puker achievement can be gotten earlier if one is aware enough about it to knock 'em over the head on time, but due to RNG, it can be the longest or easiest. The lint-roller and custom T-shirt ones alone will take an extra 30 - 40 hours to get due to the exceedingly low number of occurrences per day, and thus this just becomes a waiting game. Yet, this is one of the better store sim games to have come out recently, and is definitely one I would recommend to someone who enjoys this type of game, or what I like to call “store sims.” It is unique in that it has side-quest, challenges, random NPC events, loads of character, store and staff upgrades, and its way of selling used items one has as well as when buying certain decorations (the paint) that make the small street you are on feel more alive. Thus, Laundry Store Sim gets a 9/10 from me, and is one I highly recommend to pick up at full price or on-sale, you will absolutely get your moneys worth, but you have been warned about how grindy the achievements can be, and is something I hope can be addressed soon.

After watching CaseOh play this game I really wanted to try it out since I'd seen him play other games similar to this but this one seemed much more interesting than the others. This game has so much to do and a lot of things to accomplish, so it's also worth your money. Overall an awesome game that I'd recommend to anyone!

So addictive! Hoping for more missions / stories to be added soon as I have fully completed the stories, upgraded everything there is to upgrade and have every asset. Hoping for some new mechanics or stores I can add to my business! Very fun (thanks to CaseOh for making me wanna play!) 10/10

This game is awesome, all thanks to the goat, CaseOh, I discovered this masterpiece. Laundry Store Simulator is the perfect mix of chill and fun. Also, this game is a steal! Most simulators are around $15-$30 but this one is $12 and its by far, the best simulator game I've EVER played. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRYING THIS GAME. 10/10.

It was surprising just how good this game is. One of the best simulators. I only wish I could snap the washing machines in place so that they line up perfectly, and to be able to make the stocker order product and change prices.

Started playing because of CaseOh. Fun game, inexpensive, relaxing.

fun game only things that could use improvement is the inventory is a little lacking could store more items on shelves, there is no way to know how many of each item you have and the AI that stocks the shelves has to wait until customers get done purchasing which slows the process down.

I tried to demo first before buying. Then after buying and playing for so long, I realized I got addicted to this game. So far I am really enjoying it!

Shout out to Case for putting all of us on... once again. This is probably one of the best Sim games I've played. There's so much stuff to do, a lot of stuff to upgrade, you can customize. The quests are cute and fun. You can tell the devs really put a lot of work into it. I personally like the random encounters (naughty man). It's funny and stands out from other Sims. Totally recommend!

Overall, I recommend this game. For the price, you’re going to get your money’s worth and enjoy it. That being said, the endgame needs massive improvements. The whole point of games like this is to reach a point where you can be hands-off and have things operating smoothly. As it stands right now the endgame is more stressful and less enjoyable than the start when you had no help. I think a large part of this issue stems from the layout of the laundry mat itself, the additional rooms for you to add more machines are small and kind of out of the way. I’ve found that my staff in charge of washing and drying prioritize the main room and forget the machines in the other rooms. You’re probably thinking: “Okay move everything into one room.”, well the devs made the oddest decision ever by making by adding a bunch of small rooms as a way to “expand” your laundromat, rather than making one large room in the same way they did the coin wash area. So, what you get is 3 additional rooms that cannot fit very many machines, and buggy staff that can’t decide how they want to approach this. If I step in and help my staff, I found that we serve 80 customers a day, without me, they manage 50. Now take into consideration that I’ve completely maxed them out and that’s an insane difference, especially since I’m almost confident I was reaching that before with less than half of the staff I had now, and without upgrades. They also get stuck on machines sometimes so you have to be careful in your layout because for some reason they’re not programmed to just walk around it, instead they will try to go through it in the paths they’re used to, which continues to take from the already limited space you have. Also, it would be nice to have more customization. For instance, being able to move shelves around, specifically the mini-mart ones. Their positions are a bit awkward and I’d love it if the mini-mart just had its own little section. It would also be nice if we could demolish that arch in the “big room” so it’s more open and we have more space. Speaking of the mini-mart, not being able to restock shelves when customers are grabbing items just has to go. I say this because when your laundry mat eventually gets popular, there will come a time when the customers are lining up at the shelves to shop, and if the first customer snatches up all of an item, and trust me honey these people love some bleach, the next one will complain about the item being out of stock and leave, and the one after that might do the same, and you have to HOPE nobody else gets in line or you’re gonna get caught in a loop of dissatisfaction that you quite frankly can do nothing about. This also applies to the vending machines. I know I’ve listed a lot of negatives for a game I’m giving a positive review because it genuinely is enjoyable up until the end game, where it should be at its most fun. You’re going to enjoy it up to that point, hell you might even still enjoy it after. I’ve just found I’m encountering more issues, and fixing more problems than I did before.
