I can't possibly recommend this game with full sincerity. Not even for 5$ I've put a fair amount of hours into the game, grinding out cosmetics, fish tiers and upgrades long past the game's genuine enjoyment factor for the progression mechanics allow (ie cast, wait, hold left click. Sell, repeat) I'm just a few fish away (around 8) from completing my journal in it's entirety and I often find myself coming back to sit in a quiet, solo lobby in hopes that RNG blesses me, even if I'm not having fun anymore. There's a couple of key reasons why the fun just isn't there. • Mechanics. It's very true that this game is simplistic. Simplistic style, simplistic engine, simplistic features, simplistic characters, customisation and game-play. Overall, after the charm of such a quaint and relaxing game wears off, you're left feeling bored by the rinse repeat nature. if this was the game's only issue however, I would say it's well within the 5$ range for a game. • The community. What was once a game full of people and thriving, inviting communities has devolved into a few handful of dedicated players that can't stop until the last fish is caught and ten-folds more individuals that are simply running rampant in the chats having full on sex RPs, spamming chat with slurs, using pixel stamps to post gore, porn (namely furry, CP and grape-esc images) and racial imagery in almost every lobby. It's truly the community that makes and breaks this game. The game is dead, but modders commit themselves to creating exciting and refreshing mod packs for the game that bring life back into it. Meanwhile the rest of the community works hard at making it such a vile and uninviting place to be that most new players don't even make it to the point that they discover mods for the game in the first place. An "inclusive" game that allows the least inclusive individuals to run it's player base far far away. Ensuring that with every passing week the game comes closer and closer to being a safe haven for the most depraved to indulge one another in their shameful behaviours. I truly truly cannot bring myself to find those last 8 fish, and with the state of this chatroom/fishing mini game today, i can't recommend it to anyone for a "fun, chill, casual experience where "everyone" (mhm) is welcomed" Save your 5$ for something else, it would be better spent at Mc.Donalds than here.

had potential to be the next big chat game, but nobody else was interested in coming back (including the developer of the game) cannot recommend in its current state until an update brings players back.

Its so good genuinely been obsessed these last few days i love that this game is both enjoyable on your own or with others who join your lobby, while i play on laptop and it's a little much for it to handle it isn't the roughest on it it crashes from time to time, but i sorta expected that seeing as im using a non-gaming centric laptop so im really quite impressed with how easy it is to run also, yes using the touch pad is a challenge a mouse is def a necessity i love the crude sorta humor and as a verified gay i enjoy the representation it gives and makes me feel seen great community of people and totally worth the buy, im not really much of a gamer not playing much other than animal crossing and an occasional pokemon game but this almost instantly caught my eye worth the buy and loving every moment playing this game, dev you did an amazing job keep up the good work

10/10 game this game is quite literally awesome. its basically a 18+ fishing version of animal crossing extremely addictive and a great way to meet people and make friends

Do not purchase this game if you're under 16, the amount of sexual comments you'll get or see is outrageous. The community is unfortunately very awful and until there's something that erases stamps for everyone, get used to seeing swastikas. The base game is fine, though it stutters a lot and frames drop constantly in large servers due to bugs in the game involving props. It could use quality of life updates too, though seeing how slow this game takes to update I wouldn't imagine these issues are going to be fixed anytime soon.

Very relaxed, low stress game. I am someone who worries about speaking with strangers online as it's always a gamble if I am going to be called something nasty or if people will actually be nice to me. I genuinely have not had a single bad experience in this game and it always turns into a group bonding. I definitely recommend this game if you are someone seeking some sort of social environment. Even if you are some like me who is shy to talk to someone, having something to do while you talk/having a talking point to start with is super helpful. I've been looking for a game like this where I can get some of that human connection without having some high stakes game play as the medium. I hope you can give it a chance if you are unsure if you would like it.

Such an amazing game. Honestly wasn't sure if I would like it but its great. Fishing, gambling, chillin. It's definitely worth the money. Only thing to note is if you play on public servers people can join and give you everything you need in a letter. If you want authentic gameplay you should either stay on private servers or just delete the letters when you get them. You still have to catch all the fish for the achievements which is nice but having all the money you could need in the game ruins the gameplay experience IMO. Definitely worth $5 just for the amount of time it takes to get things done. Chill grindy game with tons of progression
