Incredibly good game for what it is and costs.
Basically avatar controlling, wave based tower defense. You run around pew pew-ing while also building and upgrading your base. You adjust and upgrade your layout and starting perks in between missions. Killed enemy "force" functions as XP to do these upgrades.
There's also some mild puzzles and hidden stuff that is hinted at obviously enough to figure out.
Spent two hours just grinding up to a very basic setup and expect another 6-8 hours total until the game exhausts.
Very fair for the prices this game can be bought at on sale and even at base price not bad.
Finally a decent simple core game loop that isn't too bland and has enough growth effect to propel you forward.
This is how little gems should be.
