Take the core premise of Fatal Frame, but limit it to a just mental asylum (ad small final location) you must explore and photograph to unravel the story, There's just something unnerving about the old PS1/2 era retro graphic style, and it comes in clutch for the atmosphere of this short horror adventure title. The FINAL reveal felt forced for no other reason than a quick ooh spookey gotcha moment. Given how the story progresses, that moment would hqve have been a great way to end this tale. Thanks to reading the notes scattered though out allowing you to connect with the patients through understanding their mental struggles and the plight of being underfed leet the tale end on a tragedy that surprisingly tugged at my heart stings. Thankfully the final note allowed me a moment to just stand there and take in the subtle execution and character model positioning that changes how you view the events leading up to the discovery. Despite the final boo moment and quiz feeling tacked on for replayability, Spiritgrapher was far more enjoyable than I expected heading in and clearly suggest you play. Well done, SpoocleMacBoogle. I paid $2.79, but even at $3.99 I would have been very happy with the experience at that price point. Anxious to try out any other titles you have done or are in the pipeline. And fter looking at your catalogue, I'm pleased to know I've both played a number of them, but also have a few in y library I have yet to install.

8/10 Interesting story telling game. Basically a walking simulator where you take photos inside a asylum in certain locations. Each photo is a image of a moment in the story. You must collect all the journal entries and piece together a story that leads up to a major incident that happened. Pay attention to the notes because you'll be quizzed at the end of the game. I love the use of ambient noises, it really fits the creepy trek through this game. There are no jump scares, this game mostly uses images and sounds to give you the chills. Very fun. Highly recommend. Worth the cash.
