This seems to me like a SCAM. It is an Adobe Flash video as narration where you get to choose at two or 3 points what will happen next. You can even skip forward like in a video.... this is neither a real game nor a dlc...

I thought that i was cheated and bought just the narrative, but this is a bonus, if you want to play the real DG2 just go in its storepage and click on play.

The game in it's present state is not worth the frustration of getting it open, then it is an exercise in futility to actually arrive at a playable game interface.
I am inclined to attribute the bulk of the irritations to the use of Flash as platform. I do not recall when the MS world closed the door on Flash. In my humble opinion it wasn't soon enough.
Perhaps you can do better - know that I have experienced deep frustration with most aspects of this build.

nice little audio story with slide show imgs and a bit of interactions of the viewer. Not played the game itself yet but this seems like a nice addition. such a shame it uses flash with how the end of 2020 will be and all ...

This should not be referred to as a DLC...it is basically a digital comic, no actual missions. I got it for next to nothing, but definitely not worth the normal price. Stick to the actual game.

Generally don't feel great about paying for a narrative story listed as a game on Steam. That being said I did feel like this added a story to the relatively story-less Defense Grid 2 so if you can get it for free or with the bundle of Defense Grid 2 for a fair price. I would take the plunge!
