After 2 hrs play in session discovering secrets and completing side quests make a lot of progress, the host disconnected and I lost all my progress .. why not make me the new host instead and keep the game for me. wasted 2 hrs for nothing .. there is no save in this game .. you either finish the session by completing the main objective or lose it all.

AMAZING GAME OVERALL! For an EA game this is jam-packed full of content. The Gameplay loop is fluid, the arsenal of weapons is fairly diverse and the character customization is awesome as well.
-There is a lot to like about this game from the collectable items, the difficulty options, Boss fights, extraction, spells, progression, the "Space Cowboy" theme and map designs. You can tell the small team of developers are working day in and day out to make this game better. My favorite thing about this game is the attention to detail and care the devs put in especially the patches they have put in since EA launched. All of the modifications to the balancing of the game have been fair and you can CERTAINLY tell they take community feedback seriously.
- The only few things i would change about the game is the progression system is a lil' bit linear after your first Prestige. I would also love to see more of an enemy variety created, especially in difficulty modes leading up to Nightmare. Lastly, I enjoy this game's soundtrack and sound effects, I just wish there was more variety to it.
- Overall, this game can easily be worth hundreds of hours of FUN and Chaotic gameplay upon it's full release, I sincerely hope the devs continue regular patches and fill the game with more weapons, enemies, or eventually a PVP mode if possible. Interested if this review holds up to time, I'd consider this game a MUST BUY!

The best co-op game I've played in the last two years. It has everything: fun, challenge, emotions, and an incredible atmosphere.
I'm writing this review after just 2 hours of gameplay, and those hours flew by without me even noticing. The game is so addictive that even though I was tired and wanted to sleep, I just couldn't stop playing.
One of my favorite things is the lobby. You can join your friend and spend hours just hanging out, talking, and playing the guitar together. It's a small detail, but it makes the world feel alive and incredibly immersive.
Massive respect to Evil Raptor. It's hard to believe that a team of only 8 people managed to create something this amazing. You can really feel the passion that went into making this game.
11/10 Sheriff's Stars.
Thank you, Evil Raptor, for this masterpiece! <3

We didnt get rayman 4, but this comes very very close to it.
Gameplay is mostly similar to helldiver 2 EXCEPT the maps will always be the same and only the side objective and boss changes.

In short, Far Far West is fantastic and well worth the price even in its early access state. You play as wizard cowboy robots fighting supernatural skeleton armies. You move fast, blast skeletons and play minigames/fight bosses to complete missions. As a huge fan of Deep Rock Galactic, I love this game. It shares many of DRG's strengths, which make both great.
What makes it great:
-It commits to absurdity for the sake of fun. It doesn't care about what is "realistic", it cares about what is fun.
-On high difficulty, the game spams you with huge amounts of fodder enemies, as a horde shooter should.
-A good progression system that allows you to build your weapons and character for various roles. It even has a (rudimentary) endgame progression system via the prestige mechanic.
-Well-designed objectives. They're fun minigames that often involve superweapons and puzzles, which encourages teamplay when you must balance solving the puzzle with fighting enemies.
-Rewards you for using tech and combos. Gets you fun results, like yeeting yourself across the map at ridiculous speeds, or nuking enemies with multiple fire tornadoes and acid geysers via portals.
-Developers don't (so far) nerf the fun out of the game. So long as it's not game-breaking and it's fun, it stays in the game even if it wasn't intended. I quit Helldivers 2 after its developers nerfed the fun out of everything I loved, so this is a big breath of fresh air.
Areas of improvement:
-Weapon/tool/spell balance. A few of them are bad enough to be impractical at high difficulty.
-Improvements to weapon progression. As far as I can tell, it is mainly damage dealt that drives weapon leveling, which makes it a bit hard to level secondaries that aren't meant to be your main damage dealers.
-Snakes are a bit annoying when spammed (they are tiny enemies that latch onto you and prevent you from attacking for a few seconds when they touch you)
-We need something akin to DRG's "Rock and Stone" button!
My complaints are very minor compared to what's great about this game. This is also a very recent release into public early access, so I can cut em some slack and wait for a few patches to get us more content and resolve issues. Overall, Far Far West is already great as is and has huge potential to get even better.

This is my honest Far Far West Review and let me tell you all about it.
"Red Dead Redemption's cousin who spent three years living behind a saloon."
I bought Far Far West expecting a rugged Western adventure. What I got was a game that feels like a cowboy fever dream after eating expired beans around a campfire xD
The world has charm, the atmosphere is surprisingly enjoyable, and there are moments when the game genuinely makes you feel like a gunslinger riding towards destiny. Then, five minutes later, your horse gets stuck on a pebble, an NPC walks through a wall, and destiny takes a coffee break.
Despite its rough edges, there is something strangely lovable about it. It has that old-school "we tried our best and somehow it works" energy. The kind of game where bugs are not merely bugs—they are supporting cast members.
👍 Pros
🤠 Authentic Western atmosphere.
🌵 Large open areas that encourage exploration.
🔫 Gunfights can be genuinely fun.
🎵 Decent soundtrack that helps sell the cowboy fantasy.
😂 Unintentional comedy value is through the roof.
🐎 Horses occasionally obey the laws of physics.
👎 Cons
🐎 Horses occasionally do not obey the laws of physics.
🤖 NPC intelligence ranges from "seasoned sheriff" to "confused cactus."
🐛 Bugs appear more frequently than wildlife.
🎯 Some mechanics feel unfinished or clunky.
⏳ Can be repetitive after extended play sessions.
🌪️ Random moments of chaos that nobody involved can explain.
🤔 Conclusion
Far Far West is not the sheriff in town. It is the drunk guy playing piano in the saloon while the sheriff tries to restore order.
Is it polished? No(t) yet.
Is it technically impressive? No(t) yet.
Did I have fun? Against all logic, yes.
If you enjoy perfectly polished AAA experiences, ride away into the sunset. If you enjoy charmingly broken games that occasionally make you laugh harder than they probably intended, saddle up.
Rating: 7/10 ⭐

One of the most satisfying horde shooter combat- and movement-wise, but I'm leaving a TEMPORARY negative review so the devs can understand simple mistakes from the new update. Nightmare was relatively easy even in solo play, but there is a difference between difficulty and unfair annoyance (Helldivers 2).
- Slingers now often hit you during bunny hopping when you can't properly react. For no reason. The original version was better; you should just increase the projectile speed instead, because you can't make every single mob a priority target. Taking damage for no reason in a game where movement is a core mechanic isn't fair or fun. Bombers are enough in groups.
- Kamikaze now has a jump ability, which is great and fits them, but you have to fix the audio issue. Sometimes there is no audio, or it plays literally when it's exploding in your face, which is the opposite of how it should work. Fix the audio; nobody wants to lose health for no reason, again.
- Prowler seems weaker to me, but he was okay.
- The new "voices" are absolutely terrible. They feel like free voice samples from 2001. Even the dying sound is just an overused scream from the past. It's not funny, it's not badass, it's plastic and annoying, which only takes away from the experience instead of adding to it.
People want too much from games, updates every single week and so on, but you had the chance to prove you're a caring dev team even if there are only a few of you. Everyone would have been happy with minimal new content; instead we got interactable pigs and annoying sounds. And let's face it, even if it's Early Access, the game becomes repetitive pretty quickly even though the combat is good.
You should focus on important feedback and issues, not cheap yeehaws and laughs that even ChatGPT could make something better in two minutes. You will kill this game if you're not careful. I wish you the best, because overall it's a simple but very fun and satisfying game, and the developers are generally better than 90% of the time. I will definitely delete this negative review, but I obviously won't chit-chat with you or anyone else on a Discord server.

Some dude with 'drunk' in his screen name with only 5 hours in this game said it was grind fest that would take over a hundred hours to figure out what guns he would like to use. I unlocked all weapons and spells and utilities at around 30 hours. I'm really irritated by his review. Do you need 100 hours to understand that you can't equip a scope on a minigun? Shotguns are for close-up damage?
Yeah. This game is a grind. But it's fun. You can't get hundreds of hours of gameplay from a single game with novel mechanics all the time. Hades, DRG, Stardew Valley, WoW are all grindy games.
In conclusion, f*** that guy. Compelling me to write things.
