It's a cool game, love the game. Tried playing co-op. Tf you mean I have to play through Steam Remote Play? The fuck is Parsex? Why is this called a co-op game? Even when we got it to work, we got a frame per 10 seconds at best. This is the most complicated co-op setup I've had to deal with and we couldn't get it to work. This is game is not co-op friendly, steam has lied to us. Otherwise, I think the game is pretty sick

this is one of if not my favorite game. you may feel like you may never fully complete it but i just say that you could keep going forever. the synergies and combos are (mostly) well balanced and thought out. anyways this is a critically underrated game that i love.

This game is a masterpiece. It is quite possibly one of the hardest games ive ever played. I started playing this game back in 2021 and have played it on and off before finally beating it just now. No other game upon completing it has made me want to leave a review like this game. If you have the time and the patience, it is more than worth it. This game has made me rage like no other and I have alt F4'd after so many fucking deaths. But at the end of the day its worth it all.

If you're into roguelikes or bullet hell typo games this game uses both genres, it's difficult coz you may think some mechanics are essential like dodge rolling but in fact that's just a save for specific situations.
What I really like about this is the constant evolving of your playstyle bc the further you go the more you need to learn new mechanics but just by yourself, the game doesn't tell you anything which is great bc you learn from your mistakes something that I really like when playing games like this.

Summary:
Enter the Gungeon is my favorite roguelike of all time (and I have played most). I finished it on switch and I enjoyed it even more double-dipping on PC, where I finally completed the true ending. If you aren't a fan of rogue likes or incredibly demanding, difficult games I am unsure if I can change your mind. But, if you enjoy the genre or difficult games in general you will find fun and snappy gameplay, huge variety, and addictive replayability
Pros:
-Fun responsive gameplay. Every loss feels fair and you learn with each run
-Nice pixel graphics that are still readable when a lot is going on the screen
-Huge variety, each run is different whether it's guns, items, bosses, enemies etc
-Tons of secrets to uncover
-Fun unlockable characters that significantly change gameplay
-Many references to other IPs
-Great on deck
-Solid music and strong sound effects
-Fun to run through in co-op
Cons:
-May be too hard for some. Has a steep learning curve
-Level variety isn't amazing, most are variations of dungeons
-Certain floor bosses are much more difficult than others, and can negatively influence a run (Ammoconda on floor 2)
-Progression is somewhat slow, especially if you aren't good
-Enemies on later floors start to feel like bullet sponges and aren't as fun to fight, especially in bullet hell

Enter the Gungeon is a good bullet hell, and it's a very good roguelike. If you want a difficult yet addicting experience that keeps you coming back for more, this is the game. I found that it has a very steep learning curve, but once you get through that curve you'll do great.

i absolutely love this game so so much- for single player. But jesus fucking christ it isn't online co-op. or if it is, it is the most convoluted process ever. please please fix or rework this- WDYM I have to use steam remote play to *stream my friends monitor* or use a separate website/application. maybe we're just idiots but we were so excited to multiplayer this. if there's any way to effectively do online co-op please someone let me know- this was fucking awful to attempt to figure out. ABSOLUTELY love this game as a whole tho. genuinely love this game but oh my fucking god trying to play this with someone else was awful. love you guys:''')))))

It's one of my favorite rouglikes ever. Core gunplay is extremely solid, and the replayability is near endless. Loads of clever pick ups, and extremely pretty art. Also, some fun references and puns.

A great funny game with a lot of meat on the bone. I like the amount of content this game has. I've played it on my Switch previously and now I'm thinking about getting back to it on Steam Deck.
