One of THE BEST bullet hell games I've ever played. Took me a bit just to get past the second level but once you get the mechanics down it becomes easier. I have beaten the game tons of times solo and couch co-op with my brother, unlocked everything and even had a rainbow chest appear. After that I downloaded Expand the Gungeon mod which brought in a slew of new guns, levels and made replayability more enjoyable. Will be getting Gungeon 2 at the drop.

I don't even know if I should recommend this game at this point. The game is really and I mean REALLY fun but when you like it so much and decide to 100% achievement it it becomes torture, and it's because of one npc, Frifle and The Grey Mauser. FUCK YOU GUYS GO TO HELL. Great game tho buy it especially on sales.

this is probably the golden standard for rougelikes. oodles of content, loads of secrets, a bunch of ways to shake up the formula of the game, a very addicting difficulty spike, this game has it all in spades. even the 100% grind, while certainly a grind, was interesting enough to keep me at it. what an icon of a game, i am so stoked for the sequel

There's a reason why I have over 160 hours (and counting at the time of writing this) in this game. It's fun, addictive, and overall a blast to play for hours. Even if you 100% complete the game, there's always a ton of mods to play through as well. If you think $15 is too much for this game, get it while it's on sale. You won't regret it.

probably the best roguelike or lite ive played, very difficult but fair love this game

Honestly this game just isnt for me. I just dont find it fun at all. Seems overly hard, obviously probably a skill issue. But its just not for me. It seems hard to the point where I dont feel happy that I overcame I challenged, I just feel annoyed.

Overall hard, nice and kinda addicting. There may be people who enjoy this game a lot but i'm not sold about dying over and over again so much so i'll give it 7.1/10

I never really understood the fascination with rogue-likes. I tried multiple other rogue-likes before but none of them ever really caught me. Enter the Gungeon changed that. It’s a genuinely cool, varied game where you can just relax and play for a bit without overthinking anything. Overall, it’s a very well done game. I grabbed it for €1.47 in a sale and honestly it feels like I robbed the developers at that price. It’s easily worth the full price. Highly recommended.

War Log - Day ??? I haven't seen sunlight in weeks. Everything is bullets. The walls? Bullets. The enemies? Bullets. My gun? A bullet that shoots guns that shoot bullets. I entered the Gungeon to kill my past. Instead, I'm watching a rat steal all my loot while I dodge bullets and make deals with cursed weapons. I think I'm slowly losing myself in the chaos. I tried to pet the dog. It looked at me like it remembered every run I failed. Then it sighed, dropped a blank, and handed me a note that said “[i]You will never escape.[/i]” I think it pities me. The Gatling Gull screamed my name last night in my dreams. I woke up mid-dodge roll and destroyed my bedside table. I haven't blinked since the Oubliette. [b]10/10. I no longer fear death. I fear the reload timer.[/b]
