While it does have its flaws, it ultimately is very satisfying and well worth the 10 bucks. I find it to be more enjoyable than EHM at this point even though there isn't as much depth.

This is my favorite hockey manager game. They replace unnecessary complexity with the ability to customize nearly everything. Things are complex enough to keep things interesting and fun without being ridiculously over complex. I shouldn't have needed 8 years of playing hockey to understand a game about managing an imaginary hockey team. I don't want to have conversations with imaginary players or meet stupid goals of an imaginary owner. I want to make meaningful decisions and be able to see their effects. I want to be able to track the history of my team. This game is great. it needs some quality of life features for sure, especially around assigning scouts. However, this is a minor issue. Obviously a little hockey knowledge is helpful but you can jump into this and have fun with minimal past knowledge and that is great. I love the accessibility.
