Sadly I make these type reviews for games which I liked & felt had potential. But the final challenges with timed switches, make it all *NOT* worth it in the end. Perhaps, if you're reeally lucky you'll finish the game without getting pissed off or confused. I doubt this will happen. The ending "reward" only really works if tension wasn't ruined by how infuriating game play was. Especially after failing several times, I lost count. Most of the "tension" was baked into the growing, irritating demands of the final gimmick, such as not being able to look at a map while running + some almost guaranteed beginners traps, forcing trial & error which dispels any real sensation of horror. The final mazes start screwing with you, making it harder if you already fail 1 attempt at beating a timer, this serves to also accelerate the frequency of condescending death screen messages delivered to you, adding to the torture. Expectations from the first half of game, in part have lead to this later disappointment. I dunno, this review is a warning, just trust me bro.
