I have played every single NOFS game on steam, and at first it was just because I enjoy playing obscure and weird games. But if that was it I would have stopped about two games ago when I got the gist of what kind of games this developer puts out. The games from NOFS are not technically well made or even all that enjoyable as far as gameplay is concerned, but I like them all the same.
This game especially it was a joy to actually see things in the story connect and reference other games in the series. It was a cohesive story across games with decent supplemental material provided in books scattered across the game. I think the story is interesting and by far the best part of the games. A close second is the imagery it uses, because i'm a big fan of all the meat textures.
So would I recommend this game? Not necessarily, but I don't regret playing or buying it and if you are interested there's a demo for this game and GOR3 is free.
