yeah its pretty fun for a few playthroughs but its really annoying how some anomalies hardly EVER show up so replays are just looking for the same few things that always happen. needs a rebalancing.

Cool idea, meh execution.
I love anomaly games. Observation Duty really kicked things off for me in this regard, but that series is starting to lose it's charm as others have come up with much cooler ideas and takes on the genre. This game on the surface is really cool. Step out onto a floor, observe your surroundings, guess if there's an anomaly or not. It looks great, but that's about where the positives end. Brace yourself for some complaints.
This game is really, really, really easy. I beat it with only one fail on the first floor because I didn't understand the mechanics (I was distracted) and after that it was an easy one shot. I loaded it up again and I missed a couple of times, but again, I didn't understand the mechanics of things like the cleaning lady only moves if you look at her. I went the other side first and turned around to see her go in seemingly late. But once I failed, I realized that's not an anomaly, certain events only happen when you look at them. Sorry if that's hard to understand, but that word vomit has all the parts to say it's really easy. Most of the anomalies are painfully obvious. None of them that I've seen are scary. I saw some markings that weren't there before oooOOooOOoo oh no this thing looks stretched out ahhhhh. Please. Though it may be "horror themed" you won't be creeped out by the atmosphere or jumpscares. Also the anomalies seem to be just completely randomized. That is to say, they're always "randomized" in these kinds of games, but this game doesn't prioritize ones you haven't seen before at all. I believe other anomaly games weight anomalies you haven't seen yet to be more likely to happen so the game doesn't get stale. This doesn't do that. There's seemingly no reason to play it again unless you just REALLY want to see all of the anomalies which as stated before, aren't all that exciting. The achievements offer little more than seeing the anomalies and beat it quickly. Which is just...whatever.
Very cool idea here, but super weak as a horror game or a difficult anomaly game.

⭐ 7/10 – A Terrifyingly Brilliant Anomaly Horror Experience! ⭐
Floor 9 is an absolute must-play for fans of eerie, unsettling horror games. Developed by Room Games, this experience keeps you on edge from start to finish. The atmosphere is incredibly tense, with dimly lit hallways, flickering lights, and an ever-present sense of dread that something is watching you.
The anomaly-based horror mechanics feel fresh and unpredictable, making every playthrough unique. Whether it's subtle environmental changes or outright nightmarish distortions, you’re constantly questioning reality. The sound design is phenomenal, adding to the suspense with every creak, whisper, and distant echo.
If you enjoy games like I'm on Observation Duty or The Anomaly Project, this one will be right up your alley. It's a psychological horror gem that thrives on paranoia and observation skills. Highly recommended for horror fans!
