The Last Sight Reviews
You started a neighborhood security program, which gradually expanded in size. Over time, it evolved to monitor not only homes but also warehouses, gas stations and various other locations. However, as your program grew, it began attracting the attention of dubious individuals.

My initial opinion of the game after streaming for an hour is that for the price, this is worth a try. If you like Observation Duty styled games this fits right in there, and there is clearly something more going on that I haven't gotten to yet.
I keep missing the kidnapper cue, but that's a skill issue. I just suck at gaming.
Overall, 8/10

You can be inspired by a game or you can copy it. This is just a copy of at least two, probably three well known games. Do not get me wrong. Technically, this is a good game. But it is just boring. Something is missing. Some kind of soul. Or just some fresh new approaches for this sort of a game.
The most annoying points:
- Volume controls are missing.
- [strike]You need to click to switch cameras. Switching with AWSD would be much more comfortable (A+D for cams, W+S for location).[/strike]
- Anomalies are mostly way too easy to spot and too few types.
- Typical anomalies, a thousand times seen before.
These devs have already proven their skills with a popular mod they made. Therefor I expect more and cannot recommend this game. Get inspired guys and make your very own game - that will be a masterpiece for sure!
+++ UPDATE +++
Devs added keys to switch cams and location - I appreciate that!

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe this game is worth the money.
This seems more like a fan-game of the entire Welcome to the Game franchise.
The mechanics are a huge mix of Dead Signal, Welcome to the Game I & II, and Scrutinized (very noticeably from the main menu screen even).
There is obviously a difference between inspiration and a copy, but this game slightly leans towards the latter. Why? There are barely any new features this game brings to the table outside the WTTG franchise.
Besides the mechanics, the atmosphere and the graphics are also kinda... dead? Most assets are obviously asset store assets or free assets, and lots of them are also not implemented correctly, which leads to some noticeable graphics bugs. Do I blame the developers for using unoriginal assets? No. It's totally understandable that this is still a small team of developers without a big budget. However, the way the assets are used in is really poor. A great example of good asset store usage can be seen in games like Phasmophobia, where the assets are combined nicely and create a nice atmosphere. In this game however, the atmosphere is really... dead. The houses and apartments in the game have furniture. That's the only way I can describe them. There is no specific style. You can't tell what kinda person lives in those places.
Besides visuals, the sounds and music are cheap, to say the least. There is a lack of a specific style. The ambiance is very basic, but nothing that would allow you to describe the situation you're in.
There are also lots of minor issues that will probably get patched in the future, but the most noticeable ones are the mouse sensitivity setting (or the lack thereof) and the inability to change settings mid-game (which makes it pretty difficult to set up the optimal graphic settings).
I do think this game has potential, but not for the current price tag. It really feels more like a GameJolt fan-game. I think it would've been acceptable if there were more original mechanics, but almost everything about this game screams "Welcome to the Game".
I'm still looking forward to the upcoming game, just hoping that it will bring something new to the table, something that makes it stand out.

Did you beat Dead Signal and like it?
Looking for a new WTTG/IOOD type game?
If you have the patience to wait for bug patches, new features and QoL updates, give this a go.
Give it a few months maybe weeks if you dont think its worth it right now.

This game is a straight copy of Dead Signal from Reflect Studios. And a VERY bad one at that.
The settings are awful, there is No mouse sensitivity setting, No FOV slider, and you can't change all the graphic settings to medium or high at once, you have to click each setting individually to do that. Guess where the audio settings are? Nowhere! there are NO AUDIO SETTINGS IN THE GAME! Don't ask where to find the Keybinds either, you already know they also don't exist.
If you're photosensitive, there are some instances where the cameras in the game go crazy but there is no warning for it! You could end up getting a seizure, but it's not a big deal i guess.
When you first launch the game, to get to the main menu you are forced to watch a Cutscene made by a high school student for 5 seconds! If you die, you are forced to watch it again, how about letting us skip it?
The soundtrack is laughable, for a horror game we have a really simple and boring electronic beats that don't fit ANY sort of horror game.
As for the main game, I'd like to know why are there 6 WOODEN clothing cabinets in the hallway of an office? The "Hacking" Mini-game which is also copied from Welcome to the Game is bugged, You can't click anything, no explanation on how to solve it, you just have to guess, but whatever your guess is. it's wrong because it's BUGGED.
We live in a fancy house (structured like a cube but w/e) and the doors don't have LOCKS? so that means everyone can just come in your house in the middle of the night! +1 for realism
Seriously, you're making a HORROR game, The atmosphere is the most important aspect, how am I supposed to get into the mood of the game if NOTHING makes sense? 6 clothing cabinets in the hallway of an office, fancy house with doors that don't have locks, The kidnapper sees you, he runs off and comes back behind you in a instant like he Teleported, an intruder can be seen through the cameras staring at a WALL while sitting inside a BATHTUB?
I understand it's a low priced game, but seriously I don't think this game deserves a price tag to begin with, a free itch.io release would be best suited for this game.
I can also understand to be inspired by other games, but this game is not inspired, it's just entirely copied from games made by Reflect Studios.
Avoid.

Would recommend if you like the genre of horror games, but don't want to have to dedicate hours upon hours per playthrough like said by someone previously. Its worth the $5

This game is certainly worth more than $5 and is certainly worth a try. Clearly, a lot of work went into this game and it paid off big time. Fun and easy to pick up.

Obvious things out first, for the people instantly clicking the "not recommended" button - it's very clearly inspired by the Welcome to the Game franchise, more specifically Dead Signal. There should be a line drawn between inspiration and copying, and while I do to some extent agree that it may tread said line slightly, it's a disservice to call it a copy.
With that out of the way, I feel like it's only fair to go over the pros and cons of the game:
+ A nice, laid-back game in WTTG styling for fans of the game that don't really want to put in 4 hours per run
+ A fun yet challenging Nightmare mode for those looking for a more traditional WTTG feel
+ Some original mechanics, namely the device theft section of the game, with a cool free roam environment and the original camera hack minigame
+ Surprisingly character-filled... characters (this is likely more personal as I also have experience with some previous projects from the devs but it's clearly made with love and passion for the franchise)
- Admittedly, many features are, to an extent, a reskin of some found in WTTG games
- (As of now) the settings are rather limited, with FOV and sensitivity tweaks not being present (although this wasn't really a problem personally, some people found it annoying)
- Some aspects of the game sometimes feel unpolished and some models don't collide properly on the cameras
I'd like to drop a friendly reminder that this game just released and that if you have any reports or suggestions you could always tell them in their discord server instead of negative review bombing a cheap passion project of a game because it's inspired by another franchise.
I personally recommend the game if you're into the WTTG series and are looking for something to fill the hole in your heart while you're waiting for John's Chapter. It probably wouldn't be your cup of tea as a standalone game, but that's up to personal preference, etc., etc.
And to the devs, I love you brothers! Keep going and we'll make it to the next installment to what I hope to be a series! (Also I love you Nasko, pozdravi brat mi!)
