ended up refunding but i wanna give my criticisms -constant forced fights while walking around takes so much fun out of exploration and absolutely kills the vibe -i understand the camera issue is a hard one for such a small game to fix correctly, but half the time i literally cannot see 3 feet in front of me if i turn a corner -control scheme is horrible especially when it's heavily suggested to use controller like i can't even run and look around unless i play claw LMAO -idk what ab it but the fighting system just doesn't interest me after playing other turn based games like honkai star rail and pokemon which are so much more fluid. -exploration is super confusing without a map on screen, and again, that combined with being forced into a fight every 10 steps is so annoying -there's so much untranslated text and i'm so lost already in most cases i can't even use context clues to figure it out. even when you confirm a save it's still in chinese like how does something like that possibly get past playtesting? all of this is from ~30 minutes of playing. it could get better late game especially when you get your party together, but it's just so rough that it's not fun to play. i rly rly love the graphics as it reminds me of Lu's semi-horror games (which is why i was excited to buy it and had it wishlisted for months) such as nagai-san and CHURIP which i love and i truly hope this game and creator improves!

i have been enjoying this one. the original art is lovely and the story is interesting and engaging. i especially like the character stories. i want to learn more about these characters they are cool. it feels rougher than other recent rpgs but that's something i actually like about it. i like that you have to go to town to buy items and heal and revive. it feels good going from having barely any money for supplies in the beginning to just stockpiling dozens of potions and keys that i might not even need. it also feels good once you get a mix of strong accessories and can make "builds" for your party. the fact that you don't gain exp or levels from combat is weird at first but i think it is nice when it means you don't have to grind for levels and the encounters can be balanced without having to account for leveling. the english translation is a little confusing in some scenes so i would like to see it polished a bit, including some untranslated text like the stone giant area wooden signs. but despite a few flaws i find it's a unique experience that i haven't had the same in other rpgs i've played recently. recommend giving it a try! cost of entry is low so give it a look!
