Such a fun and relaxing game. I love completing each level and it's especially satisfying to see the green check mark. Pretty self explanatory and the different levels in each region make the game intriguing. I'm currently on the 2nd level, and I found the cute Kuru story before entering the 2nd level. I found the artistry in this game
refreshing. Gives off an old school watercolor vibe. The music transports you into zen like atmosphere. I recommend this game for anyone who needs to take a break from the stressors of life. Great for all ages. Challenges your mind and stimulates your senses. Overall, visually pleasing...

NOTE: Played mostly on v1.1 and v1.2. Future updates may resolve some issues I mentioned below.
TLDR, a fun and relaxing puzzler that shows some great potential from a new indie studio.
I enjoyed solving many of the puzzles in this game. The game's objective is simple: Try to fit all the pieces you're given in a predetermined grid. While this sounds like it will get repetitive quickly, it manages to keep things fresh by introducing new conditions for the puzzles which encourages different ways to approach each level. Not only that, I noticed that many levels have more than one solution, which shows these levels were crafted with the intention of being approached from many different angles. That being said, some levels are challenging as some of them took me more than 15 minutes to complete.
Presentation-wise, this game is cute, charming, and relaxing. It's simplistic gameplay is backed up with a pleasant and cute art direction, as well as a relaxing soundtrack to listen to while trying to solve each puzzle. Also, some of the sound effects used when you place the pieces of the puzzle were fun to listen to as you place them down on the grid. All these help give off a soothing vibe I enjoyed throughout the game.
However, I do have some issues that I ran into with this game. Prior to v1.2, the game's final world was inaccessible, which made the game impossible to finish until the update came out. Also, as of v1.2, some of the Steam achievements are still unable to be unlocked. Plus, I noticed that some of the game's settings do not save when you exit, most notably the option for V-Sync. The game always defaults to V-Sync set to off, which might be a concern for those who don't often want to max out their system's usage (myself included).
Despite these issues, I think KURU is still a fun little puzzle game worth your time. I'm looking forward to seeing what SolBreak Studios have in store as I sense some great potential from this team in the future.

my problems with the game, unfortunately, was the lack of hint system. Being stuck on a level for more than 10 minutes becomes much more frustrating than fun, and having to look up the solution just ruins the experience. it's not that i wouldn't recommend it, if youre ok with this fact than its a cute puzzle game, but it just isnt for me

Everything about this game is simply amazing. Everything from the art, the music, and even the level design seems so intentional and it all really adds to the atmosphere. The amount of content this game has, especially for the price, is *immense*.

This game is a good reminder of what games should be. Not everything needs to be the file size of CoD, not everything needs to be about getting to the top 500 of your region. Sometimes, just a little story with simple gameplay is for the best. This is a game made with care and heart with an unique artistic take. Worth the full price for sure.

I got this game recommended to me and I have really been enjoying it so far. Not only are the visuals and soundtrack stellar, but the puzzle gameplay is really addictive and super fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, cute puzzle game to play for the fall season!

I love this!! My daughter and I were playing through it together. I don't play many games, let alone puzzle games - but I do say it feels nice to unwind with the aid of your loved ones on the side. I am not the best at solving puzzles, and neither is my daughter, but both of us combined make an average gamer!
The art is really cute - I did not expect the shrine and bamboo levels to be really pretty! The cut scenes are adorable as well. I hope sometime in the future they will make merchandise so that I could add to my fox themed collection.
