I purchased this game to try it out as I was intrigued by the photos on the store page. It's quite an interesting concept and I found it very relaxing to play when I'm in the mood for a bit of gaming but nothing too intense that's going to wreck my brain after a long day and this one sort of tick of boxes for me
Game-play wise, I definitely prefer to play in "Zen" mode with reduced "glow" and using "mouse control" instead of keyboard, it feels a lot smoother and easier to control where I want to explore. I've attempted "Shadow" mode a few times and it was hard but if you're someone who likes a bit more excitement and intensity then I guess that's the mode for you.
Graphic wise, I appreciate that the developer added some elemental details to the game like occasional I'll see a gust of wind and leaves coming through and in some section there's rains, very lovely. In one of the world I explored, there was even a waterfall which was a nice addition along with the birds and dragonflies throughout the "journey".
I'm looking forward to unlocking all the Achievements for this game, they seems reasonably doable and I must've spent the first hour of the game chasing birds just to unlock the "Avian Aggravation" achievement XD

I wasn't sure what to expect with this game initially, but was immersed in its visuals and soundscape before I knew it. The audio in particular is gorgeous, with rich ambient music and blissful feedback (the little gong from hitting a wall is sublime).
Starting out it was preferable for me to play Zen mode and free-roam, as without upgrades it's very difficult to outpace the Shadow. With some points in speed, I could actually make progress in Shadow -- I can't confirm but it seems you encounter more unlockables in the harder mode.
Controller support in menus could be better, but there were enough options provided that I found a happy medium. Instead of "B" for back in menus, you have to use "Start". Most menu pages use right thumbstick + click as a mouse, which is slightly more difficult than flicking around selections with left thumbstick and using "A" to confirm. Save for the 'back' nav arrow, everything had large clickable areas so I'd call it functional but not polished for controller users.
Overall there's a lot of satisfying self-paced exploration & progression, a good mix of zen & excitement, and it looks and sounds gorgeous to boot. Perfect for a rainy day or a stress-free break!
