I quite like the atmosphere on hand here. i do like that sound is king. The sounds really do their job. No enemies or jump scares are present/needed for this experience. The game has left me wondering if there is a way out though. I'm startin' to think it's the case lol. Just when I think progress is bein' made I wind up back at the start etc. It supposedly leads us to the promised land. Who knows if this is the case. I wont bash the game for being derivative, another review called this a pools clone but that game just took from the pools rooms concept of Jared Pike. The reason I am giving them game a negative review is due to the incredibly slow drunk feeling controls that take away from the fun and immersion of the game. The map design was decent enough if nothing new. the second "level" of the game replaces all the textures with striped walls so it even becomes unpleasant to look at. The ambient audio gets repetitive but it beats having some monster chasing you down ruining the quiet feel of these games. And lastly I stopped playing after 30 minutes because I clipped through the floor and there was no checkpoint and I wasnt about to trudge my way back through. That being said if you have read this far into my review you are probably a big surrealism and liminal fan and so if you have a couple bucks and an hour to spare and are craving something you havnt played when you played everything else its not so bad.

Silent Threat, much like Pools, offers an intense atmosphere and creates environmental tension. Just as in Pools, every corner keeps you on edge here as well. The graphics take a step beyond Pools, providing an immersive experience. This makes Silent Threat a unique horror game. I highly recommend

It is among the rare games that can offer psychological tension and entertainment to the user at the same time. It's very fun and scary at the same time. I advise

Pools clone attempt. Really floaty controls. Bad performance, made my GPU scream in terror. Areas separated by weird black fog. Random heartbeat and breathing sounds. Fell off from map. Has ducks.

Very fun game. Love the atmosphere. Very creepy game. Hopefully we get more DLC from the developer. Big thumbs up from me. https://youtu.be/69kBbEm01E0?si=JG8oQMtjqmTcbXs3

Game is unoptimized - you cannot change your graphics settings, it feels buggy, and moving feels like the ground is made of ice. For now - stay away.

I had a great time here, liminal spaces are at their best when they focus on gradually drawing attention to the unsettling environment, which Silent Threat does very well. It's funny how a game with "silent" in the name is using sound so effectively to amplify the environment. By putting on headphones your immersion is augmented because of the ambient noises - there's no jump-scares or cringe horror stuff. Don't have to worry about silly monsters either, so you can check out the eerie place at your leisure, which made me feel like I was there wandering around in this strange and cool area. Because of that I really enjoyed taking screenshots of my adventure, there's a bunch of neat atmosphere to it. Thank you for the fun experience, it fits the Backrooms bill for me, and I hope for more!

Beautiful liminal space atmospheric walking simulator. It takes around 2-3 hours of exploration to see most of what this game has to offer. In this game there is no way out, no ending, no escape. The fun comes from the journey in this game, not the destination. Discovering new rooms, finding new areas, feeling a sense of wonder and getting lost in interesting areas is what this game excels at. + The game world is huge and well designed. A huge variety of beautiful rooms to explore, trippy designs, high up in towers and low down in watery sewers. + There are a few creepy humanoid figures you can actually discover moving around if you look hard enough. + Some sound effects are really creepy and mood setting. - Some of the same sound effects are used too often, after awhile they don't have the same effect. - Dire need of more graphic settings. I would love to play this in 4K without the dirty screen filter. - Some black doorways go to nowhere, and you get lost in blackness and have to restart the game. In one sewer area you fall through the ground, another area you can clip walk through the ceiling. Various small bugs throughout. - Needs an ending or something to accomplish. Game is literally unfinished. All in all this game is a bit janky in parts, but I still had lots of fun with it, much to explore and discover here. 7 / 10

I had perhaps too high expectations for this game. My personal opinion is that the game has many graphic smudges, you approach the walls and you see the room next to it, or you pass through objects. The background sounds are sharply cut and climbing or descending stairs is a visual trauma. The general experience did not leave me anything positive .. it must be improved and perhaps some Achievements should also be put to involve the player more. My vote is 5/10.
