LOOTPLOT is what you get when you take the amazingly satisfying "Number Go Up" subgrene of roguelite and combine it with a Baba is You-style breaking of the game.

Like Balatro, but instead of cards it's a tableau-building board game.

10/10 game so far, incredibly complex but understandable mechanics, when everything works it feels like you've built a rocket ship and suddenly hit the sun, can't wait for all future updates (and hopefully endless mode)

This game is fun and addictive.
If you like incremental roguelikes, this is pretty much a good one.
It's kinda hard but easy to get it.
You gotta place tiles to put things in it to make points. POINTS!
LOTS OF POINTS!
git that cake!
TILES! POPS! POINTS! FRUITS! THINGS! EXPLOSIONS!
I spent around 8 hours in the demo, there is a lot you can do in the demo alone, then i recommend the game if you enjoy not really understanding everything you did. THINGS POPS AND POINTS!!! (yes)

Easy to pick up, makes the "big numbers and pretty colors" part of my brain happy. Also a decent amount of strategy involved. Pretty good game

The moment I saw this game on the store page I KNEW it was going to be fun.
Hidden roguelite gem, so pleasing to play.
The colors, the unique features and techniques!!!
And how could I not mention the EXTREMELY SATISFYING points system and collection?
The game is pretty new and yet I consider it a BANGER.
I'm sure that with updates this will turn into a SOLID gem, more than it is right now.
Please if you even have a slight interest, buy and try this game out, it's so addictive.

Really fun, cleverly designed, well worth the price. Scratches the same sort of itch as Balatro - combine item synergies to make your score go boom.

if you've played balatro for more than a few hours you've probably realized that the poker element is basically a red herring and 99.9% of the game is acquiring jokers and putting them in the right order. in a lot of the strongest builds your poker hand doesn't matter at all, you just play any card and get a billion points from your jokers.
lootplot solved this issue by cutting out the middleman. arranging objects in space is the entire game it doesn't pretend to be about anything else. you have tiles, you have objects you put on the tiles. when you press the "pulse" button each tile activates in sequence. you can press the button six times in a level, and the goal is to get a certain score within those six presses. that's it.
what really sets it apart from all the other engine-building games coming out right now is the extreme non-modality. everything in the game is on the same screen and functions the same way. there is no separate shop, instead there are "shop slots" which reset their item when pulsed. selling is the same way. slots can be created and modified anywhere on the board. you can activate items in the shop without buying them by placing something that activates other items in range. you can steal items by destroying the shop slot beneath them. you can add bonus points to the pulse button. you can accidentally destroy the pulse button and softlock the game. you can accidentally destroy the pulse button and use a reroll-based engine to win anyway. you can put a bowl in the wrong place and put yourself at negative a billion points. you can do anything.

very addictive game, but no way of restarting a run quickly combined with oddly long load times disappoints me a little

Just like others before me, I just had to see if I am better at this than Northernlion. Not disappointed
Well, it turns out I am not that much better.
But the game is still fun.
Buy it, now!
